Criminally underrated. I wish this kind of music was still popular in jrpgs and other Japanese media. It's such a perfect mix of jazzy, dreamy, somber and mystical. NiGHTS and other SEGA games from that time period had it too. Japan had top tier tastes in the 90s.

Mysterious and soothing, like a solemn lullaby with a deep sense of nostalgia. Listening to this reminds me of simpler times, it reminds me of the childhood I only experienced once. No matter how much I want to return to those times, I feel a powerful force pulling me out of the past and into an uncertain future. Like Klonoa being pulled out of a world he truly believed was his home.

JoeyMikeyTully i am a gamer , a true gamer. ive been gaming for a long time i knew it was special. the song "untamed heart" is by far one of the best game tracks ive ever heard. Alot of feelings is behind this and it shows.

Such raw emotion. The composition has this reflective, almost nostalgic tone. The game is almost over, and it's time to relax and accept the inevitable. This is up there with "Heart Of Anxiety" from FF7 as one of the most emotional video game compositions. Very talented composer.

I remember buying this game thinking it was just an average platformer but damn was I wrong! I wish Klonoa would make a comeback and maybe they can explain why he travels through dreams, his own Phantomile, and if he has a family or something.

I remember the first time I reached Cress and I was strolling through the beautiful crystal-studded level. When that chorus hit, the same melody that was played to us at the very start of the game, I remembered that it made me feel ALOT of things.

This song got to me and made me tear up a little while playing, the music was so beautiful, as I guided the anthropomorphic boy to face his destiny. It almost felt like this song in this level and the next was making its final tunes as a means of saying goodbye since the journey was almost over. Even so, I was willing to play on to the end and witness Klonoa's destiny as a dream traveler, one full of adventures within the dreams, the happiness of meeting people and helping others, fighting the nightmares that plague those unfortunate, and spread their evil throughout the land, and the eventual sadness of having to leave those lands once saved, knowing he will have to leave and continue his journey. One question I thought to myself was how long will it continue, and when does it end? Better yet the question would be what does Klonoa's true world looks like? Because we've never seen it, I guess it is up to our imaginations. As a fan of anthropomorphic characters since Looney Tunes and the like, I'm glad I had more than one chance to play as Klonoa in his games.

the random gamer Yeah, the first game I wanted so bad to stay, and he tries his best to fight against some force pulling him back into his own world, separating from Huepow. He thought that everything about Huepow and his Grandpa was real. Then Huepow dumps information that he never lived in Breezegale, in Phantomile. It was hard for Klonoa to accept. He comes around during the second game and is more accepting of his destiny, a part of him wanted to stay in Lunatea a little longer after the adventures were over, but he knows already.

Klonoa may get a revival thanks to "Klonoa Encore", which was recently trademarked by Namco! They may be ports of Door to Phantomile and Lunatea's Veil; maybe even remakes! All we have to do is wait to see if something happens with those trademarks, but it's a safe bet that they will be either remakes or ports, seeing that Katamari Damacy followed the same pattern.

It's about 14 years since Klonoa remake was released on Wii. And people still hold this series dear to their hearts. That's how you make a masterpiece. I do hope that someday Bandai Namco will shake the dust of it.

I only got to play through Klonoa for the first time a few years ago in my mid 30's after seeing strafefox's review of it and ended up really enjoying the game even after that ending. I'm glad this is getting a remaster on Switch.

I have never found a game like this before, the perfect plot, the perfect characters, the perfect SOUNDTRACK!. I feel sad, thinking about the new games, the one's that are only created to be sold, making stupid plots and things like that. The creators had missed the talent to make them full of feelings.
