I found 17 in my small backyard, but the 4 leaf ones are only in one patch so I definitely realized it’s the biology of the plant. Kind of like a mutation?? Mine don’t look exactly like those though... but I do know I have both in my yard, the first one you showed and I believe another species to the other one because that’s the only species where I find the 4 leaf ones. I actually found a 5 leaf the other day, I was pretty excited!!! My kids daddy who is in heaven now was Irish and loved St. Patrick’s day. He taught me mostly about them and we got matching tattoos of them. He was always so great at finding them so whenever I find a 4 leaf, I always think of him!!! ☘️ 🍀

Hi~ I’ve been picking 4 leaf clovers since I was a child. *what I’ve discovered is that where you find you will at least find 2 more. Just like specific and uncommon shells on the beach. Things come in 3’s. I’ve found 5 and 8 leaf clovers as well. It’s definitely a treasure hunt. Great vid.

I agree where you find one you will find more usually not in the exact same patch but same yard, street or farm. It has to do something with soil, fertilizer or something that affects their growth. I can find many in some towns and none in others. Many in some yards or schools usually neglected or fertilized ones and yet the next yard on same street too well kept and their patches has none. Usually on the fields or yards that do have one I find 1 to 2 per patch many smaller patches as well but usually have to go to the next patch after that a foot or two after I have found as many as a dozen in a small few hundred sq ft patch of clovers before easily on the farms and schools where I grew up and it is 20 years plus and I do not see a shortage found 4 more in about a 15 minute scan yesterday. 2 In one farm same patch and 2 others in random neighbors yards all right on the edge of the road. It is fun and not that rare. Main trick I find to find them fast is 1. The white part of the leaf needs to make a square or pointed square this helps recognize the 4 leaf vs the many many 3 leafs overlapping other 3 leafs with one leaf sticking out making it look 4 leaf. 2. All the leafs will always lean similarly the same perpendicular and height away from the ground once you get used to this you will find quicky the 1 or two leafs that look connected but are not and allow you to scan a patch quickly and find one without having to touch and separate all the clovers in a patch and rescan. This speeds up searching a ton as you can scan once almost always and be done and move to next patch quickly just by eye. I have pretty bad vision and can do this easily.

When I’m looking for shells or clovers I will at least find 3 within close proximity. Just weird observation I guess.

@@user-gt5xg2fy9w if you follow the clover stem all the way to the bottom you will notice that it grows kind of on a vine, for lack of a better term. I don’t know how far, I but I have pulled up a plant and noticed that it does have root system. Maybe this is genetic thing. I honestly don’t know.

I always find 4-Leaf Clovers, my family can atest to that. I am the 4-Leaf Clover Girl in my Family. I have always been able to find them as a child, never really played with others, I was the one off on the size, hunting clovers. I have found hundreds, upon hundreds of clovers. Maybe, thousands... but, we lost track when I was little. I honestly, can be walking and glimps down and spot a 4-Leaf, quite frequently. There are many times, though that when I am looking for them, I will not see any.... and other times, I look down and spot one immediately then spot another and another and turn my head and another one. This does happen alot. I have thought, about doing crafts with them and selling them. This has been my idea for a long time. After, my Mama passed last year. I found a book from when we were kids, It eas a bedtime story book, that I had some of the 4-Leaf clovers, that I found when I was a kid. (There, were also a few Autumn leaves, I had saved when I was little in the book also.) I also, a couple of months ago... Saw ny Granny's Bible, and inside of it was a couple more I gave her. I was so happy to show my daughter, the 4-Leaf clovers, that I had found when I was a child. Though, we have many I have found since then... it is still good to find the ones I found when I was little! I have foundout, that the reason I can find it so fast like that.. is, shape recognition. (But, what about the 5-leaf? 6-leaf? 7-leaf? 8-leaf? And, yes 9-leaf clover? ---- and, Yes! I did, find these when I was little, too!) Now, the higher amount of petals, they are not all the same size. It, is from what I see, the longer they are allowed to grow, the more of a chance, that they can grow a new petal. Which, means that the new petal will be smaller. So, they can have more petals. Now, you can fine 5-leaf, clovers that all the petals are the same size. Even, 6-leaf clovers the same size. You, can even find ones that instead of them being "4-Leaf", they may have a "Joint Leaf", meaning.. to me it is 3 1/2, because the 3 & 4 leaf are not full leaf, they are grown together. I have also found many of those too. 4 1/2 Leaf Clover, which would had bee. A 5-leaf, if it didn't grow together... But, thank you for sharing this video, for people! I love my 4-leaf clovers! ❤️

Found 4 of them yesterday. Used to do it as a kid so I knew how to look for them. It is probably closer to 1 out of every 250 to 500 if you know how to scan for them well. I think people will find them easily if more tried to look. I always enjoy it, was frustrated though when my mom went to Ireland and bought one once and I realized they sold her as a tourist a 3 leaf clover with an extra leaf placed on it that was laminated and eventually just moved away but was never connected or oriented correctly. Lazy tourist souveniring as they are truly easy to find takes maybe 5 minutes to find one or two.

I had never found one until I became close to God. Might sound silly but it’s true. I hunted and hunted during my time off from work. For hours. My entire yard is covered in clovers and I spent so much time looking. I finally gave up and was speaking to a friend on the phone about how I felt so much at peace when I am looking for clovers, and how since I was saved, I have been so drawn to nature and just enjoying life.. but I can’t find one and I don’t know if I ever will. At that moment I looked down at my feet and there one was! It was an incredible experience. Ever since then, I have been able to find them when I am not even looking. Other times I hunt and hunt and remember to put peace and compassion in my heart, it reminds me to pray and speak to God. Then a 4 leaf clover is revealed to me. This has happened so many times it is undeniable. There is certainly a spiritual connection within these clovers. I researched St. Patrick’s testimony and my inkling was validated! I had no idea he had gotten a vision from God that Eve grabbed a 4 leafed clover before leaving the Garden of Eden to remind her of the paradise that awaits us in the afterlife with God. (Mind you, I was a complete atheist who has debated against, mocked, and laughed at Christians, pastors, churches, and the Bible) Some things are just put in front of you to encourage you to make a choice. I chose Christ! My life has changed completely since then.
