I've NEVER thought about what it would feel like to be a caught gator! Aliens!! That's exactly how it feels to them. That's funny, Chris🙂😅... You seem to have a very calming effect on your animals. Look at you right in front of a new gator, and he's doing NOTHING while you removed the tape!😮s. That 1st gator you said would take weeks or months for her to settle in... the next day, you were "dancing " with her. Same thing with the Nile croc... he was fine and taking food from you. It's you, Chris. I love how you say, "Hi Chloe..Hi baby..Chloeeeee. ". You talk to every single animal with the same tone and cadence.. you truly are The real life Dr. Doolittle!..... and of course Mrs. Dr. Doolittle! You're awesome too Gabby... you both are magical❤

I don’t understand how anyone can think gators are stupid. Big Mac was scared but wheels were turning when you took off the tape and sat a bit together. Hope s/he heals up enough to have a good quality of life. It’s hard to see an animal in so much discomfort and pain. Isami is just adorable,such a pleasure to watch her play. There are some species of prickly pear which have dangerous spines…my orphaned grandfather worked at one point as a ranch hand told me about searing the spines off for cattle during an East Texas blue norther. I was so fascinated about feeding prickly pear to cattle the misery of the work and the fact he was a child didn’t enter my mind until I was older.

Seeing how comfortable Shippo is now with you right up on him is so rewarding. I mean, you've been somewhat close for awhile but he still had a look of apprehensiveness and not being at complete ease. This is the first time I really see you up close and he looked 100% completely relaxed and not worried about ya AT ALL. Now if he'd just start going back at Hazel when she's taking her impatience out on him pre-feeding time, he'll officially have come all the way out of his shell...😂

So glad that Big Mac survived the night. Chris, you and Gabby have the best wildlife channels on the internet. Not just because of the wonderful animals and how you are able to highlight their personalities, but because you and Gabby are so educational even just in seeing how you interact with them. I'm so happy to see you two living your dream. I had a few questions. How long does it take to complete that daily routine? As the sanctuary expands and the routine becomes even bigger, do you think you'll have to take on staff in the future? How many crocs and gators do you think you have capacity for? You put Big Mac in with Bella to pair up male with female as he might have been more prone to fights with Aqila, does that mean you're limited to one male per enclosure? Have you ever noticed any big personality differences between crocs and gators as a species? All the best.

I never thought of it that way, "Alien abduction," but you are right, it must feel so frightening and unfathomable. Believe it or not, I wondered about the tape on his mouth when you let Big Mac loose. But, hello! You know what you are doing! Thanks for addressing that though..I wondered. He's lucky to be in a safe place now. I'm always amazed at how well you know these creatures. That you can go right up to him and remove the tape....wow. I really enjoy your rounds. Greetings Chris and Gabby. Luvvies to all the sanctuary creatures too. I'm thrilled that BigMac, made it through the night. Hooray 🎉 That's fantastic after seeing all the trauma he has been through. So wonderful to see him in the swallow water today. I'm sure that being in his natural element also helps cleaning of the wounds, reducing any swelling and in general just making him more comfortable and settled. Well done big guy, keep on recovering in your wonderful new home. No more fighting or hitchhiking on the roads required.

Seeing how swollen the one arm was, I cannot imagine him not having at least a mild concussion, he got hit by a truck before the aliens abducted him. It was a rough day for sure. Big question that piqued my curiosity a week or so ago. You swam with Bella underwater after a few days & she "acted" chill & you said most all wild gators are like that "underwater". But since then, we've seen she's still nervous & defensive with you above water. Why the difference in behavior towards you "under water vs above water"?
@evertisakjulius22497 ай бұрын
I guess it's cause they can't see aswell underwater and they don't expect a "monkey (huuman)that kidnapped" them to swim under water with them
