Untested SONY SLV-E230 VHS VCR Fixing and Refurbishing

I picked up a video like this in my local waste facility. It had some problems, a tiny plastic piece broken, I repaired it with glue. The pinch roller gears was bad alignment, the gears teeths was bad lined up. So, I tested, and I got surprised the high image quality, very crispy, clean, you can't tell the diference between this humble video player and a high end video player like a Panasonic AG-7500, AG-7330, NV-HS1000 or similars.

So um my vhs player is a jvc vcr and i was wondering because whenever i put a tape and press play it plays fine for a few seconds and then stops and plays again over and over and whenever it stops it displays according to my tv “av 1 NTSC” and its so annoying because i cant enjoy the movie i was wondering what is the cause of that?

Great video everything proven vhs tapes don't have picture quality problem's at all everything proven tvs more of the problem everything proven not every tv has good picture quality the good tvs continue to put more greater quality in your VHS tapes on to the bad tvs don't have good picture quality it continues to take quality out of your vhs tapes

No,there were better models in S VHS with hi fi,Multisystem,edition,PIP and more functions.

People like myself are fixing VCR players and fixing broken vhs tapes with Scotch tape it starts playing again with out no problem's vhs tapes don't stop playing at all

Broken vhs tape itself is fixable with Scotch tape it starts playing again with out no problem's vhs tapes don't lock up at all like internet does in the future

It’s not called a VHS player it’s called a VCR.
