I don't think this fight was drawn out its just that theres so many breaks. But for what it symbolizes, Mashiba's growth and acceptance of Ippo and growth on Kumi's part which might help her accept Ippo coming out of retirement, are exceptionally well-written and leave me with a bittersweet taste in my mouth because of the breaks.
