I have always loved this instrument but was unaware that it could be played with such finesse. Luke is definitely the pinnacle of musician for me. He makes it look easy and I know it isn’t.

I'm first but I should tell you that your rendition of Harvest Moon is my go-to thing as yeah I have a trillion songs like anyone that I like to play on KZbin but I think that that was the most flawless piece ---ever. You literally make me cry when you hit that one chord so perfect towards the end. Crazy good attention to detail you have.

I swear. Your music is getting me through this pandemic. I love the sound you get from those Duesenbergs. Makes me want to hang my slide up and just listen. You have so much control and make it look effortless. I've been listening to this composition repeatedly and I never tire hearing it. And what you do with Nick Drake's "River Man" is just amazing. Gorgeous tone. I’m a 35 year guitar player who just invested in a Pomona 6 basically because of your playing. Gives me hope to someday layer my originals with sounds like you’re making here. I’ll probably reach out directly to see if you want to collaborate on a couple tracks. Would be a privilege to have your playing layered in. Well done! Thank you for the inspiration. Luke, I would love to see your talents on a pedal steel with 3 pedals and 4 knee levers (fairly standard set up E9 tuning). I think you would not only have great enjoyment, but I think you would do even more amazing and beautiful songs. I’ve playing pedal steel for over 30 years and it still gives me thrills.

This is pure class. Fantastic playing and great to see the note bender effect used in lap slide guitar. Is it quite common to get those lapsteels with the tremolo built in? I’ve heard the effect before but I’ve never seen it played until just now.

That Duesenberg model is about $2600. You can spend $99 on a Rogue or $300 on a Gretsch to learn on. Go for it. Buying used on Reverb.com or Musician's Friend can reveal some pretty cheap prices.
