After listening to several stories on this channel, you can separate the savages from the men. Violence for men is a tool that is used to fix well thought out, LEVEL problems. Violence for savages is a drug, an addiction that never solves the TRUE problems. Love hearing these stories from both perspectives. Great channel Laz! 💪🏿

Another amazing story by the brother, Black Knowledge. He managed to make a 2 hour video fly by. I sincerely hope that this story, among his other stories on this platform, are given the deference that they deserve. Black Knowledge’s stories subtly places demands on all listeners. For example, well over an hour has elapsed before his words start to align with the title of the video; i.e. , prior to his story physically taking place in Schenectady. However, in that first hour-plus of the video one can witness the demands that he places on listeners. One of the initial demands that he places on listeners is a discerning ear. He starts the video by saying that before he can discuss the war in Schenectady, he has to introduce the players. He also mentions that the players in the story are younger than him. The gravity of the story lies in that connection, as he articulates an immediate visceral connection with Hookoff. He mentions the other younger brothers in Coxsackie as being wild, but that adjective is not reserved for Hookoff. Rather, he observes Hookoff. One might be tempted to think that this connection is borne out of Hookoff’s resemblance to Black Knowledge’s little brother, or Hookoff bearing the marks of being war tested. However, those observations by Black Knowledge are ancillary, as a deeper dive will reveal that Black Knowledge is really elucidating two points: (1) he was drawn to the distinction between Hookoff’s character and the character of the other younger brothers, and (2) Black Knowledge demonstrates his confidence in his own instinct.; an instinct that later serves him well when the war with Schenectady begins to turn violent and Hookoff demonstrates his loyalty. I don’t personally know how the story ends, but one can see by the end of this video that Hookoff’s demeanor belies a penchant for violence that both meets, and exceeds, what’s necessary for the war with Schenectady; thus confirming Black Knowledge’s instinct about him. Granted the war with Schenectady is where the action lies, but the demands of Black Knowledge’s stories begin the moment that he speaks. Thank you Artist-Saint, St. Laz, and Black Knowledge for continuing to provide meaningful content. Salute to both you Brothers! Paterson, NJ

@@Black_knowledge_Sumnerthanks for giving us another classic. You,Duran L Famous and Truth Parker are my favorite story tellers on the St Laz podcast. But one thing I don't understand when you said their were inmates from all over NYC and Upstate NY but whY about Nassau and Suffolk County Long Island which has had alot of brothers including my younger brother Great Mind Allah and alot cats I grew up with in L I. No disrespect to you but alot of cays from the Boro never acknowledged L.I. as being a part of NY even though we spit out some official tissue as well . But again thanks for the banger you gave us and many blessings King to you and your family. .

@@wesleyrobinson4949I spoke about this topic in another comment I believe where someone asked a similar question. My response to that brother was that I came across several solid brothers from LI, one in particular that I will speak about in my story about Collin’s Corr Facility. However I mentioned that the brothers that I came across from LI mostly hung with Cats from LI. In addition, the brothers that I know from LI are all God Body (5%), and the Gods that I met from LI steered clear of negative situations you dig. @wesleyrobinson4949 to answer your question my brother, I met several solid men from out of LI during my stint in the joint. However most of those brothers that I came across from LI were God Body (5%), and they didn’t interact that much with brothers who weren’t from LI. I did in fact develop a super strong relationship with a brother from out of LI named Kufu, and his and my story will get told whenever I get back around to the story about Collins Correctional Facility! There are super solid brothers that came from out of LI, as there were from all other boroughs, but my stories mainly focus on individuals that I had a specific type of bond with, based upon a specific set of circumstances you dig! Salute to LI homies though because I see yall and know that yall are in the building 🫡💪🏾
