इंनका सुरीला सफर इतना रंगीन नहीं था !! ओर आवाज मे इतनी मिठास भी नहीं थी ,, इस लिये शान को लोग बहोत जलदी भूल गये , ओर ना आज उनके गाणे सुंनते है ,, सबसे सफल रहे , कुमार सानू, उदित नारायण , अलका याग्निक, अनुराधा पौडवाल, अभिजित सावंत , हरिहरन , लता जी , ईनके अतिरिक्त आज कल किसी के भी गाणे सुणाये नहीं जाते ,, कितने आये कितने गये , लेकीन सॅक्सेस सभी को नहीं मिलती,,

इनकी voice क्वालिटी उतनी अच्छी नहीं थी, जितनी उदित नारायण और कुमार सानू की होती थी. इसी वजह से इनको ज्यादा गानों का offer नहीं मिला। यही बात female singers के साथ भी हुआ. अलका याग्निक की आवाज की क्वालिटी सबसे खूबसूरत थी इसी वजह से उनको सबसे ज्यादा गाना मिलता था. इसमें किसी को कोई हैरानी नहीं होनी चाहिए. यहां कोई भेदभाव या पक्षपात की बात बिल्कुल नहीं है। जिनकी आवाज सबसे अच्छी थी, उनको सबसे ज्यादा गाना मिले. ये वाजिब भी है.
