He also had Matt Lafleur. There was no excuse for playing as poorly as he did in the NFCCG in 2020 and against the 49ers in 2021. Brady spotted him 3 picks in ‘20 and he only put up 10 points vs the 49ers in ‘21. Two colossal disappoints without the Mike McCarthy excuse.

@@BenjaminHehir I agree, he is very intelligent, but shows a lack in discernment. I genuinely think the dude throws people under the bus too much to be a great player. Not saying all time greats haven’t done that, but dude seems to be SO quick to blame shift every time the going gets tough. I played with players like Rodgers and players like Mahomes or Brady or Manning, and can tell you universally everyone would rather follow and play for a leader like Mahomes rather than a leader like Rodgers. Crazy talent, but everyone’s on pins and needles every time the going gets tough because the focus is more on “How do I NOT mess this up???” rather than “How can I help my team win??”

At the 6 minute 45 second mark the guy makes a telling remark. "Up until Covid he was on the right side". Let that sink in. The arrogance of the talking heads in the media is off the charts. Of course, making this all the more ironic is the fact Rodgers was correct and those who were 'right' were wrong. Then piling on with a total lack of reality acting like Rodgers was still wrong for questioning their narrative.

Check out the Apple series Masters of Air to get visual and visceral feeling of what it must of been like to be a B-24 pilot in WWII like Aaron Rogers grandfather did. 44 missions was a lot of near death experiences to have survived to tell the tale. The series does a good job presenting how those pilots were sent on missions in which most did not come back. I sometime wondered what the Gen. Curtis LeMay and his other generals were thinking. Truly defines what cannon fodder means.

I think those who take issue with vaccines are morons who think they know more than the professionals. It seems like half of this country has lost their minds recently. Having said that, I can separate Rodgers' off season shenanigans with what he brings to the team. All of his teammates love him and he's been an entertaining player. Why do people insist on making sports personal? I don't care what anyone's beliefs are. I watch the games like I watch a movie. They missed the most important thing with Rodgers .... he scored 1310 on his SATs , which makes him smarter than almost every guy in an NFL lockerrrom, however he thinks he is the smartest guy in EVERY room! His claim that he'd like to debate Fauci is laughable....Fauci probably scored near 1600 on his SATs, Aaron isn't in his intellectual league ....but doesn't know it.
