How ridiculous is the statement of the judge of the High Court that Farooq Chisty has suffered a lot of punishment for his crimes, so he has been released ... People say rape doesn't involve religion. But... when a girl was raped in a temple, an entire ecosystem dragged Hinduism, rape, and rapists in the same sentence. Rapes by a "peaceful community" is never a big deal for this ecosystem. The max they say is "rapist doesn't have religion. Punish the rapist and don't hate the religion." But that isn't the case when the rapist is Hindu. They drag Hindu Goddesses and culture and faith every chance they get. In this case, had the rapist been a member of a high-class Brahmin family managing a temple, and the rape was done in the temple... the entire ecosystem would NEVER let people forget it, make it international, and defame Hinduism, especially during Navaratri. Did you see anyone from that ecosystem talking about this incident? No. Hell, they've successfully managed to make this NOT AN IMPORTANT NEWS to be talked about or shown. For people like us, when it comes to the rapist, regardless of his/their intentions and religion, the rapist deserves EXTREME PUNISHMENT. Powerful people be they Hindu/Christian/Muslim buy and use the law as they wish while innocent people, the victims suffer and question whether taking help from the judiciary is worth it. We don't see religion or motive. We see a horrible crime has occurred and we see the law has given protection to the powerful (be it Hindu/Muslim/Christian) and failed to serve justice. But an ecosystem only cares when the victim is a Minority/Dalit. They ask us to not involve religion and hate religion but then easily do it against Hindus. Why am I targeting that ecosystem? They claim to be secular, the voice of the voiceless, the savior of democracy.
