What a great documentary!! We grew up in the 80s under Zia and witnessed the Talibanization of Pakistan. No such large country in the world changed in such manner as Pakistan in just 11 years and your final two minutes of the video brilliantly sums up Zia's 'success'. Weep for Pakistan!

But Pakistan economy was growing at rapid pace under Zia Ul Haq, in fact ahead of both India and China. While Pakistan also had a fair and free foreign policy because it did not owe America a single dollar and was not stuck in IMF debt trap. Zia also had the nerve to stand up to India and Israel who he had pit in their places, while he also defeated and broke Soviet Union in 18 pieces in Afghanistan who planned to attack Pakistan’s hot waters once Kabul fell in their control - this also avenged Pakistan’s 1971 break up in which Soviets played a huge role. Also, under Zia, a decade past without a rape case being reported, while Pakistan completed their nuclear weapons program which Zia did not give Americans a sniff.
