Karna was jealous of Arjun but more than that Arjun was jealous of Karna. And this is also described on the same Parva.

कर्ण भीम को बचपन में जहर देने की योजना में भी शामिल था जलन के कारण: 'हे भरतवंशी! जलक्रीड़ा के लिए उन्होंने कपास और ऊन से एक अद्भुत और विशाल क्रीड़ागृह बनवाया था। वह सभी प्रकार की मनोवांछित वस्तुओं से भरा हुआ था। वह प्रमाणकोटि नामक स्थान पर था और जलरेखा से थोड़ा ऊपर था। जब खेल समाप्त हो जाते, तो वे स्वच्छ वस्त्र पहनते, आभूषण पहनते और जल्दी-जल्दी भोजन करते। जब दिन समाप्त हो जाता, तो वीर कुरु राजकुमार अपने खेलों से थक जाते और उस क्रीड़ागृह में विश्राम करते। शक्तिशाली भीम हमेशा जलक्रीड़ा में अन्य राजकुमारों पर भारी पड़ते थे। लेकिन एक अवसर पर, वे अत्यधिक व्यायाम के कारण थक गए थे। उन्होंने प्रमाणकोटि में सोने की इच्छा की और किनारे पर चढ़ गए और एक स्थान ढूंढ़ लिया। उन्होंने सफेद वस्त्र पहन रखा था। वे थके हुए थे और शराब के नशे में थे। हे राजन! पांडव थक गए थे और मरे हुए की तरह सो गए थे। फिर दुर्योधन ने चुपके से उसे लताओं से बनी पट्टियों से बाँध दिया। उसे भूमि से नीचे तेज और गहरे जल में लुढ़का दिया। होश में आकर कौंतेय ने सारे बंधन तोड़ डाले। शस्त्र चलाने वालों में श्रेष्ठ भीम जल से उठे। एक बार फिर जब भीम सो रहे थे, तो वे बहुत से साँप ले आए-तीखे दाँत वाले, बहुत ही विषैले, क्रोधी और उग्र। उन्होंने उनसे अपने शरीर के सभी कोमल स्थानों पर डसवाया। लेकिन जब उन्होंने उसके कोमल स्थानों पर डसा, तब भी वे उसे गिरा न सके। वे उसकी त्वचा में प्रवेश न कर सके, क्योंकि चौड़ी छाती वाला साँप बहुत कठोर था। जब भीम जागे, तो उन्होंने सभी साँपों को मार डाला। उस समय से वे और उनके साथी बहुत सावधान रहने लगे। उन्होंने भीमसेन के भोजन में भी विष मिला दिया। यह ताजा बना हुआ कालकूट विष था, इतना विषैला कि शरीर के रोएँ खड़े हो जाते थे। इस अवसर पर वैश्य के पुत्र ने पृथा के पुत्रों को सचेत किया, ताकि उनका कल्याण सुनिश्चित हो सके। लेकिन यद्यपि वृकोदर ने इसे खा लिया, लेकिन इसका उन पर कोई प्रभाव नहीं पड़ा। यद्यपि विष अत्यंत विषैला था और भीम को मारने के लिए था, फिर भी भीम ने इसे पचा लिया और सहन कर लिया। 'तब दुर्योधन, कर्ण और सुबल के पुत्र शकुनि ने पांडवों को मारने के लिए कई अन्य उपाय किए। हालाँकि, अपने शत्रुओं को जलाने वाले पांडवों को इन सभी के बारे में पता चल गया। विदुर की सलाह के अनुसार, उन्होंने यह सब कभी नहीं बताया।' संभवा पर्व- अध्याय ११९

I dont get it why so many people are targeting and defaming Karna so much nowadays and just don not want to acknowledge that great warrior. I mean if you have read BORI CE Mahabharata you know what is truth and what is not. Talking about Gandharva Yudha, in the whole battle Karna was the sole warrior who was immobile against the assault of the Gandharvas. He was sending thousands and thousands of Gandharvas to Yama's abode with just using his normal arrows. And the Gandharvas started attacking more furiously. This also angered Chitrasena and he himself engaged in the battle. He started using the weapons of Maya against the kuru warriors (especially against Karna). thousands and thousands of Gandharva simultaneously attacked the chariot of Karna. Karna(under the influence of chitrasena's maya) realising the situation decided to take Duryodhana on his chariot and take him to safety but due Maya he unintentionally took Vikarna with him instead of Duryodhana. By the time he returned the Pandavas already rescued Duryodhana. The Gandharvas were battling mildy with Arjuna and the Pandavas as he had good relations with Chitrasena who was Arjuna's teacher in Swarga. In that battle Arjuna(unlike Karna) was using Gandhiva and divine astras such as Agniastra to fight Gandharvas and was killing lakhs and lakhs of Gandharvas. After a short battle Chitrasena agreed to release Duryodhana on their request. Source:- BORI CE Mahabharata. Edit:- Also, it was the jealousy of Arjuna only which compelled Dronacharya to ask for Eklavya's tumb. So now you decide who is the actual envious person😂 Edit 2:- To all Brihu aunty fans that are crying in the comment section Read Bori critical edition of Mahabharat and KMG Mahabharat before writing anything proving yourself an idiot. Why are people so desperate to defame Karna and over glorify Arjuna. Karna was always better than Arjuna in almost all aspects. From warfare to upholding Dharma. Yes I agree that Karna pushing back Arjuna chariot with the lord was not written in the book but that doesn't deny the fact that lord Krishna considered Karna superior to Arjuna. It is clearly mentioned in KMG Mahabharat (which is considered an authentic source of the Epic) where Krishna says to Arjuna, "Hear in brief, O son of Pandu, I consider the mighty car-warrior Karna as thy equal, or perhaps, thy superior". Lord Krishna even wanted Karna to become the become the Ruler of the World. During the battle engaged between Karna and Arjuna in Draupadi Swayamvar, Arjuna was in disguise of a brahmin and so Karna was not forcefully attacking him initially but when Arjuna started attacking him fiercely, he started fighting with more force and in the battle he baffled Arjuna's arrows in such a way that all the kings praised his feat. Before leaving the battle he even asked Arjuna to reveal who he truly was but for some reasons, Arjuna didn't reveal his identity to Karna and said he is just a brahmin. So Karna had to left the battle because he had respect For brahmin and didn't wanted to kill one Talking about Virata Yudh, in that battle Arjuna had divine assistance. He had his divine chariot given to him by Agni dev, his Gandiva Dhanush, and most importantly protection of Lord Hanuman himself who was on his flag (mentioned in Bori and KMG). Whereas Karna was using just an ordinary bow and had an ordinary chariot. Moreover, Krishna used his illusions against Karna in that battle as admitted by him later (read Bori critical edition). But probably it is an interpolation to glorify Arjuna. I am saying that because before the Kurukshetra Yudh, Duryodhan asked Pandavas what they had done to ask for the crown of Hastinapur. Had they defeated Bhishma or Dronacharya or Karna in a battle to which Pandavas had no answer. In Bori critical edition of Mahabharat, in Drona Parva, Arjuna had to retreat infront of the Samsaptaka warriors in battle, whom Karna defeated during his Digvijay Yatra. During the Kurukshetra war, Arjuna always used to avoid fighting karna (as mentioned by Duryodhan), while karna always used to challenge him for a single combat. Whenever he used fought Karna he used to fought him in groups with Bhima and Satyaki. Arjuna vowed to save every soldier who was within the reach of his arrows, but when Karna launched his Bhargavastra, he killed thousands of pandava soldiers in front of Arjuna. And instead of protecting them, Arjuna got scared and fled from the battlefield. When Yudhishthira got to know this he insulted Arjuna and told him to give away his Gandiva, which made Arjuna angry and he attempted to kill his own brother. When Arjuna was returning to the battlefield he was perspiring very much due to the thought of fighting Karna in the battle ( I am thinking if he had already defeated him twice in the Virata Yudh, why is he so afraid to face him again in a single combat, he shouldn't be right?🤔) which made lord Krishna to console him. During the final battle of 17th day, Karna was overpowering Arjuna in plane archery so much that he was compelled to use divine weapons like Brahmastra against him. Karna even countered the Brahmastra of Arjuna just by using his normal arrows. Don't forget, if it wasn't for Krishna sinking the chariot 2 cubit deep in the ground with his foot, Arjuna would have died by Karna's Sarpamukh baan long ago. In their final battle, even when Parshuram's curse starting affecting Karna, his mental ability was so strong he was able to restrain it invoke Brahmastra. When Karna's chariot wheel got stuck in the Earth, Karna knocked Arjuna out, before attempting to extract it. In the process he lifted the whole Earth with its seven continents 4 fingers up as mentioned in KMG Mahabharat. Lord Krishna himself admitted that in a fair battle, even if the Pandavas(Yudhishthira, Bhima, Arjuna, Nakul and Sahadeva) fought with their utmost capacity, they were unable to defeat Karna, Bhishma and Drona.

Just put yourself in the shoes of karna and see .he was supposed to be the king,but his mother left him,his armour and strength has been stolen from him but still he fought he was supposed to be the greatest but history tells us he was the villain while Arjuna got evrything in a golden spoon,karna proved himself and became what he was now that is a character 🫡🫡🫡🫡

@@Arithmetal_info 😄😄 द्रोणपर्वके अन्तर्गत घटोत्कचवधपर्व अध्याय 180 शक्तिहस्तं पुनः कर्णं को लोकेऽस्ति पुमानिह । य एनमभितस्तिष्ठेत् कार्तिकेयमिवाहवे ।। १३ ॥ इस संसारमें कौन ऐसा पुरुष है, जो युद्धस्थलमें कार्तिकेयके समान शक्तिशाली कर्णके सामने खड़ा हो सके ।। १३ ।। _ दिष्ट्यापनीतकवचो दिष्ट्यापहृतकुण्डलः । दिष्ट्या सा व्यंसिता शक्तिरमोघास्य घटोत्कचे ॥ १४ ॥ सौभाग्यकी बात है कि कर्णका दिव्य कवच उतर गया, सौभाग्यसे ही उसके कुण्डल छीने गये तथा सौभाग्यसे ही उसकी वह अमोघशक्ति घटोत्कचपर गिरकर उसके हाथसे निकल गयी ।। १४ ।। _ यदि हि स्यात् सकवचस्तथैव स्यात् सकुण्डलः । सामरानपि लोकांस्त्रीनेकः कर्णो जयेद् रणे ।। १५ ।। यदि कर्ण कवच और कुण्डलोंसे सम्पन्न होता तो वह अकेला ही रणभूमिमें देवताओं सहित तीनों लोकोंको जीत सकता था ।। १५ ।। _ वासवो वा कुबेरो वा वरुणो वा जलेश्वरः । यमो वा नोत्सहेत् कर्णं रणे प्रतिसमासितुम् ।। १६ ।। उस अवस्थामें इन्द्र, कुबेर, जलेश्वर वरुण अथवा यमराज भी रणभूमिमें कर्णका सामना नहीं कर सकते थे ।। १६ ।। _ गाण्डीवमुद्यम्य भवांश्चक्रं चाहं सुदर्शनम् । न शक्तौ स्वो रणे जेतुं तथायुक्तं नरर्षभम् ।। १७ ।। तुम गाण्डीव उठाकर और मैं सुदर्शनचक्र लेकर दोनों एक साथ जाते तो भी समरांगणमें कवच- - कुण्डलोंसे युक्त नरश्रेष्ठ कर्णको नहीं जीत सकते थे ।। १७ ।। _ त्वद्धितार्थं तु शक्रेण मायापहृतकुण्डलः । विहीनकवचश्चायं कृतः परपुरंजयः ।। १८ । तुम्हारे हितके लिये इन्द्रने शत्रु-नगरीपर विजय पानेवाले कर्णके दोनों कुण्डल मायासे हर लिये और उसे कवचसे भी वंचित कर दिया ।। १८ ।। _ उत्कृत्य कवचं यस्मात् कुण्डले विमले च ते । प्रादाच्छक्राय कर्णो वै तेन वैकर्तनः स्मृतः ।। १९ ।। कर्णने कवच तथा उन निर्मल कुण्डलोंको स्वयं ही अपने शरीरसे कुतरकर इन्द्रको दे दिया था; इसीलिये उसका नाम वैकर्तन हुआ ।। १९ ।। _ कवचेन विहीनश्च कुण्डलाभ्यां च पाण्डव । सोऽद्य मानुषतां प्राप्तो विमुक्तः शक्रदत्तया ।। ३० ।। पाण्डुनन्दन! कर्ण कवच और कुण्डलसे हीन तथा इन्द्रकी दी हुई शक्तिसे शून्य होकर अब साधारण मनुष्यके समान हो गया है ।। ३० ।। _ एको हि योगोऽस्य भवेद् वधाय च्छिद्रे ह्येनं स्वप्रमत्तः प्रमत्तम् । कृच्छ्रं प्राप्तं रथचक्रे विमग्ने हन्याः पूर्वं त्वं तु संज्ञां विचार्य ।। ३१ ।। इतनेपर भी इसके वधका एक ही उपाय है। कोई छिद्र प्राप्त होनेपर जब वह असावधान हो, तुम्हारे साथ युद्ध होते समय जब कर्णके रथका पहिया (शापवश) धरती में धँस जाय और वह संकटमें पड़ जाय, उस समय तुम पूर्ण सावधान हो मेरे संकेतपर ध्यान देकर उसे पहले ही मार डालना ।। ३१ ।

@@Arithmetal_info द्रोणपर्वके अन्तर्गत घटोत्कचवधपर्व अध्याय 180 शक्तिहस्तं पुनः कर्णं को लोकेऽस्ति पुमानिह । य एनमभितस्तिष्ठेत् कार्तिकेयमिवाहवे ।। १३ ॥ इस संसारमें कौन ऐसा पुरुष है, जो युद्धस्थलमें कार्तिकेयके समान शक्तिशाली कर्णके सामने खड़ा हो सके ।। १३ ।। _ दिष्ट्यापनीतकवचो दिष्ट्यापहृतकुण्डलः । दिष्ट्या सा व्यंसिता शक्तिरमोघास्य घटोत्कचे ॥ १४ ॥ सौभाग्यकी बात है कि कर्णका दिव्य कवच उतर गया, सौभाग्यसे ही उसके कुण्डल छीने गये तथा सौभाग्यसे ही उसकी वह अमोघशक्ति घटोत्कचपर गिरकर उसके हाथसे निकल गयी ।। १४ ।। _ यदि हि स्यात् सकवचस्तथैव स्यात् सकुण्डलः । सामरानपि लोकांस्त्रीनेकः कर्णो जयेद् रणे ।। १५ ।। यदि कर्ण कवच और कुण्डलोंसे सम्पन्न होता तो वह अकेला ही रणभूमिमें देवताओं सहित तीनों लोकोंको जीत सकता था ।। १५ ।। _ वासवो वा कुबेरो वा वरुणो वा जलेश्वरः । यमो वा नोत्सहेत् कर्णं रणे प्रतिसमासितुम् ।। १६ ।। उस अवस्थामें इन्द्र, कुबेर, जलेश्वर वरुण अथवा यमराज भी रणभूमिमें कर्णका सामना नहीं कर सकते थे ।। १६ ।। _ गाण्डीवमुद्यम्य भवांश्चक्रं चाहं सुदर्शनम् । न शक्तौ स्वो रणे जेतुं तथायुक्तं नरर्षभम् ।। १७ ।। तुम गाण्डीव उठाकर और मैं सुदर्शनचक्र लेकर दोनों एक साथ जाते तो भी समरांगणमें कवच- - कुण्डलोंसे युक्त नरश्रेष्ठ कर्णको नहीं जीत सकते थे ।। १७ ।। _ त्वद्धितार्थं तु शक्रेण मायापहृतकुण्डलः । विहीनकवचश्चायं कृतः परपुरंजयः ।। १८ । तुम्हारे हितके लिये इन्द्रने शत्रु-नगरीपर विजय पानेवाले कर्णके दोनों कुण्डल मायासे हर लिये और उसे कवचसे भी वंचित कर दिया ।। १८ ।। _ उत्कृत्य कवचं यस्मात् कुण्डले विमले च ते । प्रादाच्छक्राय कर्णो वै तेन वैकर्तनः स्मृतः ।। १९ ।। कर्णने कवच तथा उन निर्मल कुण्डलोंको स्वयं ही अपने शरीरसे कुतरकर इन्द्रको दे दिया था; इसीलिये उसका नाम वैकर्तन हुआ ।। १९ ।। _ कवचेन विहीनश्च कुण्डलाभ्यां च पाण्डव । सोऽद्य मानुषतां प्राप्तो विमुक्तः शक्रदत्तया ।। ३० ।। पाण्डुनन्दन! कर्ण कवच और कुण्डलसे हीन तथा इन्द्रकी दी हुई शक्तिसे शून्य होकर अब साधारण मनुष्यके समान हो गया है ।। ३० ।। _ एको हि योगोऽस्य भवेद् वधाय च्छिद्रे ह्येनं स्वप्रमत्तः प्रमत्तम् । कृच्छ्रं प्राप्तं रथचक्रे विमग्ने हन्याः पूर्वं त्वं तु संज्ञां विचार्य ।। ३१ ।। इतनेपर भी इसके वधका एक ही उपाय है। कोई छिद्र प्राप्त होनेपर जब वह असावधान हो, तुम्हारे साथ युद्ध होते समय जब कर्णके रथका पहिया (शापवश) धरती में धँस जाय और वह संकटमें पड़ जाय, उस समय तुम पूर्ण सावधान हो मेरे संकेतपर ध्यान देकर उसे पहले ही मार डालना ।। ३१ ।

Oh brother finally accepted that Drona tech Karna but he refused to teach Brahmastra only. He took the thumb of Ekalavya because he was an enemy of Kuru empire if he tech him it would be a Desh droh. Do you know who killed Ekalavya, it is Lord Krishna who killed Ekalavya when Magadha attacked Dwarka with Ekalavya as commander. It was not That Drona did not teach Ashwatthama to neutralize Brahma shira, it is said in Mahabharata that only a perfect yogi Or Brahmachary warrior can do it ( brahmachary doesn't mean to not marry or have relationship here it is that the warrior who can focus by whole mind) So Ashwatthama was not able to do that. In the case of Karna it is right that Dronacharya did show partiality, but remember Karna was not in a good turns with Pandavas in Gurukulam and his jealousy to Arjuna also influenced Drona to make such a partial decision. However it is also right that he used the princes to revenge against Drupada.

I'm Muslim but i already watched Mahavarat and Surya puttra karn but karna always million billion times better then Arjun 🙂 Karna lose the war because karna was wrong way but he completed his promise to Doryadhan & Queen Kunti. On the other side without krisna Arjun is big zero. Arjun won the war because he was right way but without krisna Arjun & pandav are never won the Mahavarat war.🙂 Karna is the best archer in the creation of world. But Karna always lose against Arjun because Karna was wrong way but Karna always best.. If karna join pandav side in Mahavarat war karna can finish the war in oneshot. At the end how much your powerful if you join wrong side you always lose the battle. 🙂

1st Point. Agar gandharvo ne itni aasani se karn ko hara diya. To jab karn digvijay kar raha tha tab kya ho gaya tha gandharvo ko itni aasani se kaise haar gaye. Or agar karn sach me duryodhana ko akele chor ke bhag gaya tha to ladaiya ho jani chaiye thi karn or duryodhana ke bich me. In Mahabharata it is clearly written that Karna ran away from battle field fearing Arjuna. Mahadev himself said to Arjuna that in humans or danavas, Asuras, Devas, Rakshasas, Kshatriyas no one cannot defeat you. So it is clear the supreme god Lord Shiva himself said Arjuna even stronger than Bheeshma. In Vyasa Mahabharata Bori CE it is written that Karna was defeated by Gandharvas easily and Arjuna defeated Gamdharvas. Even Karna lose in front of Abhimanyu in Drona Parva. In Virat Yudh Arjuna alone defeated Karna with whole Kuru army ( Karna had Kavach still he lose) In Vyasa Mahabharata Bori CE it is clearly written that Karna himself in the 14th night of war said to Shalya that " I know Arjuna is undefeated, he is the mahisha among humans, he is the one who defeated whole Nivatha Kavachas in one night and one day ( those Nivatha Kavachas which Ravana couldn't defeat in the Treta yug) , he is the one who aquired Maha Paashupatha from Lord Shambu himself, he is the one who defeated Gandharvas, he is the one who defeated all of us in Virat war and took the cows back, yes Shalya I am going to fight with him but I know I cannot defeat him but I will fight " These are the exact words of Karna to Shalya in Vyasa Likhita Mahabharata Bori CE. Please don't destroy our culture by knowledge from serials please if you are a sanatani go and read Mahabharata.

My sources are Vyasa Likhita Mahabharatam Bori critical edition which is the most authentic version of Mahabharatam, and my second source is the Vyasa Mahabharatam malayalam which was translated in the 19th century by Kerala Vyasa Kunjikkuttan thamburan from Sanskrit, and I found that it is very much closer to the critical edition. So these 2 most authentic versions are my sources.

The Mahabharata was written to portray Arjuna as the greatest archer by downplaying Karna and ignoring Eklavya. Imagine if Eklavya had been properly trained; Arjuna wouldn't be as renowned. The Mahabharata is biased towards Arjuna, depicting him as the supreme archer. Karna > Eklavya > Arjuna.

He had the Armou still he was defeated. Look it is not that if Karna has Armour he is undefeated but the point is if he has the armour no one can kill him but can defeat easily. Even Abhimanyu defeated him.

[Arjun took sword to kill his brother dharmaraj story] -When karna defeated dharmaraja, karna didn't kill him as he promised kunti that he won't harm any of her sons except arjuna.. because of this defeat, dharmaraja completely gone to trauma and asked arjuna that did he kill karna.. arjun said not yet.. and then dharmaraj scolded arjun.. then arjun took sword to kill his own brother dharmaraj.. krishna stopped arjun and cooled both brothers.. 2.Karna spared three of kuntis sons 3.If indhra wouldn't take karnas kavach kundalas, its a game change.. so even indhra knows his son couldn't win karna 4.kavach kundalas are karnas previous births "thapo phal", after years of meditation he got this boon.. its his right to keep it.. ofcourse i know nara and narayan took his 999 of Armours but still, why indhra took that from karna and why no one took any astra away from pandavas 5.After taking his kavach, ofcourse he flew away many times, its the strategy of a warrior.. 6.Even krishna didn't allow arjuna to go to karna and fight with him when he defeated dharmaraj.. krishna said karna is ferocious at that time and that's not safe to move to him.. 7. Because Arjuna had more than one obstacles Karna is just one of them... Bheeshma, shakuni, dronacharya, kripacharyaa, jayadratha, Madra naresh, dushasana, duryodhan and his hundred brothers. Moreover shakuni is making situations so critical that even intellectual beings like dronacharya and kripacharyaa are also doing treachery and adharma in war. And Pandavas had a very sick habit of following dharma. Isiliye bhagwan krishna ko hi kamaan sambhalni padi.. ooper se har yodha ke paas kuch na kuch kavach type tha. Moreover, the entire kaurava army had just Arjuna and Bheem as their main targets, especially Arjuna. So everyone used to attack Arjuna as their powers and capabilities.

Seeing the comment section i am surprised how biased people are and have no understanding of constructive criticism or facts, those who have read the original Mahabharata of vyasa are aware how shrewd Vasusena is which is the name he is referred with in the entire Mahabharata. you can't depend upon fictional and televised narratives of the character and base your opinions on it without knowing the entire story, the point of this video was to tell people the same, not to base their opinions knowing one side and fictionalised glorification of Karna but also know his mistakes and nature, the crux of Mahabharata is grey shades, every character in the epic has a good and bad side nobody is entirely good or evil and the irony is people don't understand that and have made it into an epic as the fight between good and evil when the epic is about all the human emotions, characters and narratives concise into one place and for us to gain the knowledge from it and reflect upon .

Karna was the best archer in the war, even more than Arjuna. Otherwise, why else would Krishna create a scenario where karma was nerfed a lot due to the previous curses he had collected in his life in just one moment of the war, Krishna manipulated the entire thing when karna had started to win on the 17th day and was destroying Arjuna, true that Karna wielded the Vijaya Bow which is said to be undefeated, but no one receives such powers and Astras unless they deserve it. that's why even Arjuna had to do a severe penance to become worthy of pashupatastra. Karna himself stated that he wanted to win without his kavach-kundal though it was fully fair if you count it as one of the talents he recieved at birth. BUT STILL WE SAW IT IN THE MOVIE AND IT IS TRUE IN MAHABHARAT AS WELL, KRISHNA HIMSELF STATED THAT KARNA WAS THE BETTER ARCHER BECAUSE OF THE FACT THAT HE WAS ABLE TO SHAKE AND PUSH BACK THE DIVINE CHARIOT CREATED BY THE GOD OF FIRE, WHICH HAD SANKAT MOCHAN MAHABALI HANUMAN ON ITS FLAG, AND THE LORD OF THREE WORLDS, PARAM BRAMHA MAHA VISHNU HIMSELF AS THE CHARIOTEER TWO FEET BACK. Karna is known as Daanveer Karna. He was the greatest warrior in the war. T Arjuna defeated karna with the help of Lord Krishna through deception when he was weaponless. He already gave up his Kavach and Kundal to his mother for Arjuna. Arjuna had many Vardans and Lord Krishna and Hanuman was and even then Karna was able to push Arjuna 2 steps back and Lord Krishna appreciated his power and admitted that Karna is far superior to Arjuna.

I don't know..now a days why so many people are fascinated by the character of karna..without reading or knowing the truth..every person has some positive and negative sides like karna and arjun..in the previous birth arjun and krishna were two sages (named as nar and narayan) who were on the path of enlightment..It clearly identifies that spiritually arjun is far better than karna..fighting skill is not of much important, although arjun has many times defeated karna. Lord Krishna or lord hanuman only supports those who are on the side of dharma..even if you are son of surya or most powerful..if you will not support the dharma over adharma, then all your goodness and character are in vain..truth or dharma should be preferred after all the relations or causes, even with friendship or any relations like bibhisan or bharat in ramayan.. The person who doesn't respect the woman told them prostitute (to drapaudi)..the lord also never forgives those..Once bhisma also told a national prospers with its respect for woman, because woman is the creator of citizens of a country.., but the evil mind of karna many times insulted the hourable persons like bhisma, dronacharya and kripacharya also..At the start..obviously karna was fighting for good, but latter on the mind was poisoned and even lord krishna many times explained the importance of truth, dharma and justice..but karna never listened and he just tried to prove himself best..To kill a child like abhimanyu in a gang of persons (by stabing from the backside) is not at all human..its clearly showing the daemonic part of karna...Even arjun was never attacking karna from backside till the last moment..untill lord has asked to arjun and reminding all the adharma done by the karna.

In 14th day Duryodhana was angry on dronacharya when defeated by Arjun so Karna said to Duryodhana don't be angry on Mighty Drona he did every thing according to his age.
