I used no cape most of the vid, thetford or martlock cape are best tho, also they reworked mage cowl (The D spell) you would use a hunter hood now.

@@iLesAiles Royal sandals are not ideal for a few reasons, The defensive de-buff makes you extremely squishy and it lacks the utility of plate boot heal sprint, that is very good at winning a short trade vs someone that wants to kite you, or cloth boots mana regeneration sprint. More importantly it is a toggle meaning it doesn't go on cooldown until you stop running meaning the cooldown of your run is about 5 seconds longer than everyone else that isn't using royal sandals. It doesn't sound like a lot but because everyone in Albion has the same base move speed, unlike some other games like League of Legends, it makes it so you can't ever catch anyone that knows what they're doing, nor can you ever run away from anyone that knows what they're doing. Stick with plate heal sprint or cloth mana sprint for solo play where mobility and spacing is king, especially of a hybrid kite weapon like arcane staff.

@@iLesAiles Cloth is good in pve yes. Mage robe has the highest dmg modifier in the game and works well with arcane staff E, giving you two purges making it viable in pvp. As cloth you will basically never be able to 2v1 unless the Ip and skill difference are massive it will also be extremely hard to beat anyone higher Ip that you or physical dmg kiters because of how squishy you are in cloth. If you just want to clear a green dungeon or kill mobs in open tho, slap on the mage robe eat a fish or cabbage soup and go crazy, you don't need mana sustain when using a mage robe because its mana regen modifier is so high, you can take a defensive helmet like hunter hood and run plate boots in case you do end up getting into a fight.

If your playing with muisak you will run out of energy, otherwise your helmet gives you most of your energy , go higher tier helmet if it's a problem, capes also give energy regen.
