For the price of a Duramax you can get this which will lead to more trail closures at least here in Maine a lot of landowners shut down trails on their land when the 1st round of side by sides came out they are too wide meaning trees would have to be cut bigger ruts and ruined land now if you want to get one and drive on the rail bed all 20 miles of it now there you go

I honestly don’t understand how people can afford toys that cost more than a family saloon car. There is insurance, maintenance, a truck or trailer to transport, a hefty fuel bill and often trail permits. Not to mention the injuries seen with rollovers and other incidents where ability and enthusiasm diverge.

Broke people don’t buy these kinds of toys. Often times these vehicles will be purchased for a family to go to outings together. Buying four new quads or dirt bikes for a family costs more than buying a single UTV.

100K can be spent on a side x side, local guys have done it. Then they try to get the things on singletrack and destroy everything in sight. One hit a USFS truck head on at 50 mph, totaled the truck and the side by side. If a person doesnt have the skill or balance to ride a 2 wheeler, they get these big go carts with a cage. A great grandmother can drive one.

What about the guys into GA (General Aviation) flying old WWII technology 1970s Cessna 185s on Whip Amphibs for $500K CAD plus. I just don't get the jealousy thing. It's all perspective. "more money than brains" for a $45,0000 toy. What about a guy with his own triple engine Dassault 8X telling his pilots to have it filed and ready in 60 mins for wheels up....in an $80 million USD Jet. Get a grip. Get some perspective. In my opinion I don't think the extra power would be that noticeable with all the extra weight, it's almost 500 pounds heavier than my 21 turbo rr, which in my opinion would easily hold it's own against this heavier machine, especially when you're talking about less than 10 hp extra for each 100 pounds added, and I'm curious how it will do in loose terrain will it want to sink with the extra bulk.
