Nice haircut and video. Your channel has renewed my passion for golf. I have never been phenomenal, never had clubs that fit me @ 6'4. Few weeks ago I started going to good will and other thrift stores and almost have a complete set of clubs that fit me (nothing super special) but enough to get me golfing again. Absolutely love this channel

I was at an estate sale and was looking in the basement and in the back of a closet I found two golf club bags. I just glanced at them and knew I wanted to get them. I took them to pay and asked a price thinking they wanted a bunch for them. Nope, $10 for both sets. I pretty much ran to my truck. When I got home what I found was a men’s and women’s sets of brand new vintage clubs. The are PGA woods and irons. The date stamped on the woods are 1969. They are great condition, probably used only a couple of times. In the bag were two brand new pair of golf shoes with the old metal spikes. The women’s pair are beautiful red white and blue Arnold Palmer signature golf shoes. In the pocket of the bag was 3 dozen still in the box new golf balls. It was like I piked up a time capsule. In the bag I found a Frito Lay chip wrapper date stamped 1967. So cool.

7:38 I recently found a MacGregor Booby Grace Mini at the German/local equivalent of a goodwill here in beautiful Ratisbon. It was only 1 Euro, which is cheap in itself but UNHEARD OF if you consider how much more expensive used golf equipment is here in Germany. Quite happy about that find. You guys are really inspiring.

5:10 if you only knew how much that Niagara Falls plate was worth you throw the clubs in the air, that is a vintage 1990s collector plate release only once if you went to the original opening of the "under the falls walkway" 😅

The 'Coca-Cola Classic' name, was first introduced in 1985, so it can't be older than 39 years.

I picked up the 8802 style hickory for $10 last month. You are correct. It is butter. Went straight in the bag. Great video.

Best club in my bag is a 6 wood "fosters" with the engraving on it. "Good Luck Grandpa." I got it at good will for 1.50. Looked like it was rarely used.

Coke cans w/ the "Original Formula" markings on them were only made for about 1 year iirc (worked for the comp. at the time, Pepsi). So I think that set is from 1986. Any who ... thanks for another great video y'all.

Based on the Coca-Cola Classic headcovers, they are from 1985 at the earliest (Classic was introduced in July of 1985 after the New Coke uproar)

Coke switched its formula in 1985. And produced "New Coke", that lasted only 77 days. It is rumored that this was a marketing stunt, to cement their base customers as their main competitor was gaining ground.

Coca Cola did have a set of Golf Clubs and I ran into a partial set one time and was so enthralled with them I almost bought them but having a partial set was not worth it to me.

You’re too young to know about the New Coke. They sold both New and Original for a while. It didn’t last, but enabled Coke to double their retail shelf space so ultimately a success.
