Oh my god this is the first time ive seen anyone that wasnt me use the thing where you get the super low FOV through scopes, nice find. Also theres another way to get quite "cool"(?) or weird screenshots, go into the darkness volume in the russian metro then fly up above the surface using freecam. Everything will still be dark but you will see the rays and bloom from the sun.
