This game dug its grave when 2rgames left the scene. Now we just have a game with a Dev that's so insecure that he boosts his numbers on the Steam charts.

They had IRL stuff to handle from what I remember from the top of my head, but yes content within this game is very stagnant which pushes alot of content creators in the youtube space to other video games.

If Danaby or Renaxon or anyone else really did something bad enough to warrant their maps removal SDG should have posted hard proof by now but the silence from SDG just makes it look so much worse.

There's a lot of speculation and SDG posted their forum post right before the weekend (They don't work weekends). Since it's finally Monday Maddie Sexton should be starting to reply to E-mails now (Monday). If a whole week passes without 0 responses, this entire situation is against them as they should have known this backlash would have happened and prepared tons of evidence.

I currently have not reached out as I'm sure many content creators either KZbin or Workshop (mods to the game) are trying to get answers and quite frankly I don't want to bombard the people who were affected by this change. I hope to reach out to those affected after a week from this video's date of post.

I have not really been that invested in the unturned community, mostly playing the game casually, but seeing this situation really pissed me off. The fact that no proof has been posted publicly is making me question the integrity of SDG, and how it runs their community. I just hope that they come clean if it turns out to be a mistake.

2 things. 1, what the hell did the devs even say or do, because I can't find Jack and shit about it anywhere, and Jack has left town 2, P9nda has the best response by FAR. "Many players and myself included are wondering about the exact reasons to why said developers were cancelled. We have been getting little to no information regarding this incident, and considering with how big of a deal it is, the community deserves to know what lead to the decision. The original post has been locked to prevent speculations, I don’t want to sound rude but that’s just not how it works. Obviously its going to shift onto all the other platforms like Discord, X, KZbin etc. and people are speculating because they have not been given anything that would allow them to form their own opinions based on facts. It should be “innocent until proven guilty” and part of it is to publish what was being done wrong, and allowing these devs to defend themselves in a fair manner. Without giving any more details you are able to keep defaming them and hiding behind the “we don’t feel comfortable with sharing more information” statements. If the devs were in the wrong, then please prove it and all community members will be more understanding and see your point of view. There has been a lot of criticism in the past regarding communication, some justified and some not as much (in my personal opinion) but this situation is not going to help connect with the community which for a big part is feeling left out already. I am aware and agree and members which are clearly toxic or are misbehaving should be held accountable and face consequences. There is a lot of black sheep in the community which do not contribute anything positive at all and find joy in ruining other members time, day or life - those should be erased from the community immediately. Some of those curated devs have contributed to the games success and frankly kept the game alive for a big part of the community. I don’t know if I would still be playing the game if it wasn’t for new (and good) curated maps coming out. If it wasn’t such a big deal I wouldn’t care as much, but as a player, community member for 10 years and content creator of the game I am very disappointed and worried about the games future if we are heading this way. Regarding your work specifically, I really admire your support for your husband and I can imagine how stressful it has to be for Nelson going through all the stuff recently. Whilst I do truly believe you had good intentions, I don’t think that you in your position can be unbiased enough - especially not when it comes to a serious matter like this. I would have liked to see a professional third party investigator, outside of the Unturned space, to look into all of this. At the end of the day I want what is best for the game as a whole and would like to believe that I am allowed to speak up and voice my opinions here without facing consequences in any way." - P9nda

It isn't disclosed in the forum post what exactly the developers in question have said or done but it's described what they have said recently "Do not align with SDG's values." Very basic PR (Public Relations) speak which is very vague and very stupid quite frankly. As said I believe many people are trying to reach out to get to the bottom of this whole situation.

​@@SekkiryuuteiI would somewhat disagree with this statement, I'll explain: The game at the time pre-Elver (2020) was pretty stagnant, nothing fresh to play until Elver dropped. It reinvigorated a lot of players, new and old, to come back to the game to try it out for how different it was from conventional maps (Hawaii, Greece, France.) Unturned content creators praised it and already have discussed why this was a positive change for the game. However, for the past few years the game has been picking up agendas that seem great on paper, but has been completely unnecessary, resulting in the latest drama talked about recently.
