Where are you guys spending New Year’s Eve? If you don’t have plans yet, SB19 is performing at the Mall of Asia’s New Year’s Eve countdown. They also have the best fireworks in the city during this event. There are lots of hotels in every price bracket that you can walk to and from the mall so you won’t have to worry about the commute going home like Lime, Hotel 101, Golden Phoenix, etc.

As a local, I appreciate your honesty about your observations regarding my country. You were able to point them out without coming across as rude nor condescending. Don't worry, the things that you pointed out were some of the things that some of us have complained about too. That thing about having way too many ads happen not only on the radio but also on tv too.😆 Now, about those street kids, it would be best to steer clear of those. Some of them can be violent if you don't give them what they want. Better to be safe than sorry.

Your observations are verrry accurate. I, a filipino, complain about the same things everytime I'm out... the senior citizen discount that takes forever, the vanishing sidewalk, the stoooopid people who txt while walking then just stop midstep... blame it either on being stupid, inconsiderate or poor city planning. Hopefully a lot of people learn from ur most accurate observations. Can't wait for ur "provincial" vlogs! Cheers & stay safe biscuit boys!

04:27 They're called promodizers (those people trying to sell you stuff). They're not employed by the store, pharmacy, etc but directly by the company who owns the product they are pushing (go to a dept store and they'd be hard selling you perfumes usually). If you notice they wear a different uniform to those who work for the actual store. That's their only job -- to make sure their products sell and I think they're on commission or have sales targets. Old marketing approach.

I love this, please make more videos of this format 🙂 Your point about radio stations is one main reason why I prefer listening to a random playlist on Spotify. I don't hate ads, but ads here in PH, even on free TV, is too much! Like the song (and TV show) is gets shorter airtime than the ads combined. The malls! I hate those groups of people where they occupy the whole aisle and expect other people to give way for them. When I am not in a hurry, I really stop in front of them to break the line, and hopefully to annoy them. Looking forward to more videos in 2023, and happy new year!

🇵🇭❤️ It is good to know that you're realizing that there are many plus factors if you stay in the PH. All you need now is to look for a condo with a reasonable price (maybe around P5M - P8M), not necessarily brand new and just near the big cities. I think there are still a lot of those available. You can have this condo rented while you're away and the rent income will pay for the installments, but I think you really have to pay for the down payment as this is really the norm here. The bigger the down payment, the smaller the interest rates on the balance. I think there's a scheme for a 10%DP, balance to be paid in one year with zero interest for brandnew 2BR, Ready-to-move-in. That's pretty good. You'll be avoiding those absurd in-house interest. Well, your decision...You have a lot of time to think.🤔

Your observations are true indeed..but to remind the locals..no place is ever perfect. Even in the western world delinquency, crimes and social disparity exists..it is not just in our dear Pinas. Our country and culture is so hospitable and accommodating to many visitors, wish it is likewise reciprocated in other western countries too, but alas, these days that is not the case as well. See, even now as we comment on this video we graciously accept perceived shortcomings with a smile or sense of humor. So best approach at times is to learn as one goes visiting and exploring any new country or locale. We may never be able to please everyone to their utmost satisfaction but in our ingrained culture, it is always polite to show courtesy to visitors. Just be careful too as you go around. No place is always 100% safe. Have a Safe and Happy New Year!

Thanks guys. Yes, really, the Philippines has the most inefficient systems in the whole world. Everyone seems to take it easy, not for the lack of tips or low salary. It's just frustrating that everyone feels entitled. It just what happens when everybody tries to act like a VIP and not considerate, it is a cultural heritage from the colonial era. The bribing and pity-me culture is just engrained into some citizens blood, that they can't help themselves but just think that their time is more important than others. But it all starts from the leadership we are getting. The officials don't care about miniscule things, since they have their servants to do it for them. The public transpo system is out of whack since no one from the congress takes them. Take care guys. Since Duterte stepped down, the crime rate's going up. I believe, the bad habits can change. People just need to identify them and believe that they can change for the better. It's always good to have an outside perspective. Although sometimes I find you guys borderline offensive (I get the jokes and sarcasm), you still point out things that even for us born and raise don't find normal. Everyone's different and that constant chipmunk laugh doesn't exist in all radio stations. It's just part of their schtick

Wether you want or not Phil.is still considered as a third world country in many areas such as the provinces Only in Makati is well developed.I agree with the above comment.

Re the rise in the crime rate: well, *the crime rate is 'perceived' to have risen because people are out now after the country has been in lockdown or in a controlled environment with controlled movements for 2 and a half years since 2020.* And according to data released by the PNP, the crime rate for this month and the recent past months are actually lower than that of the past year (surprisingly, despite the said lockdowns then). Some may scoff at this data but someone has yet to show hard evidence from a credible source to discredit this report.
@rgnald Жыл бұрын
@@TDLTDL100 agree on this since most people are out after pandemic it may be possible that this has an effect on the increase. Also if you always watch the daily primetime news where there is always highlight on CRIME and DEATH you will feel that the CRIME IN THE PHILIPPINES IS INCREASING but ofcourse you should always be wary of yourself. People should know that crimes has been happening ever since even before you are born in this Planet. I am just hoping for more Police visibility and roaming so that crime can be solved and prevented that is the most important but as always you should take care of yourself and be aware of your surrounding.

@xiaokhat Жыл бұрын
Carinderia is a good suggestion but in Manila alone, it's quite difficult to find a carinderia that is really clean. Even I as someone who was born and raised in PH would prefer eating in a fastfood than gamble in the nearby cheap carinderia. I believe our boys can make their own judgment whether a particular carinderia is clean and safe enough to eat. But just saying it out there, there is a risk of getting unclean food in carinderias.
