I just bought an "Apple" free from Home Depot. The root ball is wrapped in burlap and set in a monstrous container so they can charge $99.99. There was just bark around the burlap that must have spilled out. I needed a cross pollinator for my Honey Crisp apple tree. Brought it home and the tag on the tree says "Honeycrisp." I am so frustrated as I don't need two of the same tree and when I bought the Honeycrisp it was clearly labeled as such! Argh Normally Home Depot has the correct labels on the trees.

You can prune a tree to any size you like. I keep all mine at 10ft

Do all of them self pollinate? My assumption would be no, qnd if thats the case its on the consumer to figure out what needs they may or may not have

It does depend on the tree so you would need to look

All of those trees are about 50% more than the same tree at Rural King. The quality and size are about the same.

Sometimes the fruit cocktail varieties are selected so they fruit throughout the summer, instead of all your fruits at the same time.

I know most cherry trees need a partner and sometimes require a specific variety

That’s crazy we are in Oregon and can get bare root under 20.00 this time of year! I planted a lot 2021 and had a ton of fruit last year!
