I cut my teeth on Josh Gates and his shows back when Discovery was popular on cable. He must he one hell of a producer because hes still all over the place 20yrs later. Hes a really likeable, intelligent and interesting character. I loved watching him travel back in the day. Kudos to him for staying relevant and on top of his game for so long. Love to see it

Living n Michigan all my life, this is the first time I have ever heard of ghosts on the Island. Although knowing that during the early years the English , British both wanted the Island. I love that you have looked and searched for them. A lot of the people that lived there died during the wars that the straits were noted for . It is a beautiful place to go and visit and if you tour the forts you will find a lot of Ghosts still live there.

The reason Josh does things the way he's doing it wants to stay close to his wife and kids. They are everything to him, and he doesn't want his kids growing up without him or leaving his wife to raise their kids alone. He's a good man who has his priorities in order.😊😊😊

We need a part 2 of this expedition! Living in the lower peninsula I've heard stories of the strange happenings in the upper peninsula but not to this extent. We have a town in the lower peninsula called Allegan that's reported similar activity at one of its restaurants. Staff has reported that chairs and silverware not being where they left it at closing, chairs back on the floor instead of resting on the table on the seat of the chair, not to mention silverware being knocked off the table and at times thrown across the room.

"The far north of Michigan." It isn't the far north of MI, it's midway, or in the middle. People always forget that there are two parts to MI. There is the mitten or lower half, and there is the UP or Upper Peninsula which is farther north. So, writer for Josh Gates, Mackinac Island is in the middle of the state.

OMG this funeral hearse at exactly 7:16 when the first passes by and you see the back of the hearse look in between the hearse and the ground there is a ghost there in the bottom of the hearse it looks like there's two of them but there's definitely one and it's to the right the passenger side of the hearse you know it's a spirit because it's bluish in color this wouldn't be seen by people's eyes is only picked up because of the cameras and it's looking back I took a screenshot of it and I'm 100% right I zoomed in and you can see a ghost Spirit there laying there looking back at the group at the camera. OMG this is insane!
