I have the Daniel Smith Christmas tube with 3 colors. The green that smells like Christmas trees is the same paint as cascade green! So pretty! 😁

I got the black bijou with water and the red mini. Hmm, my lid fits tight. It hads never popped off. Not in over, wow I can't even remember how old it is is that old. And I use it daily. It should friction fit tight

The 5.6mm clutch lead holder….I love these things, I find them very comfortable for drawing. You can get different colours of leads, including a multi coloured one ‘magic’ which I find very interesting for rough under sketching when I am trying not to be overly precise. Koh lin oor make lots that are worth checking out. You can sharpen them easily by rubbing on sandpapers of various thickness. Try to avoid the temptation of sharpening in a sharpener that involves twisting. It will actually work, but you can end up shattering the lead if you get the angle slightly wrong.

I’ve got the Koh i noor clutch pencil, too. There’s a lead pointer in the end! You have to unscrew the “button” that lets the lead out.

Those long v rods are for holding the pans in the whiskey painter pallets. They work really well. I’m sure you’ll figure it out. And the brushes hold a lot of water. I’ve got a lot of the Frome version of these pallets which were made I think in Italy ( I’m in Europe). I’ve used them for years. The only one I ever had a problem with was the one with the water container which eventually got a bit overly moist and I think had a pin point leak. Unfortunately it was next to a phthalocyanine blue. Which then ran through the whole pallet and stained everything. I cleaned it all out and removed some rust. I need to have a good look under magnification and try to find a hole then go in with some rust converter and some epoxy putty. But the poor thing had been abused for a while by that point. I hope you have fun with yours. If you have difficulty getting water in, try putting a narrow drinking straw in the top and filling through that. Then just keep a bit of straw in the travel bag. Use one too long to drop in the reservoir though……..(🤦🏼‍♀️

Your gouache should be perfectly fine. I keep my gouache airtight palette in the freezer between uses to keep mold from growing. There's no change to consistency or texture at all once it's thawed. I've been storing it this way for years.
