Небоскреб нужен для обозначения центра, это странно, но это именно так работает в СНГ, не далекий пример - Москва сити, единственный пример где собраны все крупные компании России (с аферистами конечно). Но это бизнес центр. Во всех остальных развитых странах, небоскреб это мера для экономии места. В том же самом Дубаи, небоскреб нужен для привлечения внимания ивесторов)) Места там много)

Какие компании по твоему смогут себе позволить арендовать там офисы? Узбекбанк, узбекавто, узбекнефть, узбекуголь, узьекметалл, узбекаграрий и узбекжд. Вот и все! А там 5 мать его 75 метров!!!)))) дажеесли будут тц и рестораны, это максимум 5 этажей. Гостиница и апартаменты еще мах 10 этажей. Не будет этого небоскреба в пустынном, богом забытом узбекистане.

Why do we call these "futuristic"? It is 1950s science fiction urbanise-for-urbanisation-sake idea. Growth for growth sake is an idea for the past. Growth of population and urban land are creating problems. Economic growth is unsustainable and is a moribund concept for the 20th century. Regenerate the soil, forests, create sustainable building and growing: that is actually ambitious. There is nothing ambitious or admirable at spending insane amounts of money to make more concrete stuff and selling more stuff and having central dictatorial powers, private or national.
