Tyyy it helps but i still don’t understand what colors to pick, like on the blueberry u drew, at the very bottom theres like a purple-ish light and idk where it comes from🥲

Hi it’s the reflected light from the ground and I picked purple for that as a stylistic choice. www.artistsnetwork.com/art-techniques/drawing-light-white-pencil-black-paper/

When you were shading the blue berry did you use some sort of pressure brush because you got different types of colors when coloring it, if that makes sense

Well if you mean the blueberry that I was shading in the „3 Value“ Chapter then it was the free „block!“ brush from poki han you can get it on gumroad. But if you mean the blueberry from the „HSB Shifting“ then it was a brush from the samdoesart brush set, you can only get it when you become one of his patreons. 💗💗

I sometimes use the blending tool but the blending brush is from samdoesart brush set or somtimes I blend myself without using the blending tool. The „block!“ brush from poki han you can really blend good without using the blending tool. I don‘t change the opacity of my brushes, I use them like in traditional pencil drawing. If you want darker shadows then you press harder if you want llighter light then you press lighter. Hope this helped you💗
