That came out well. Sometimes we have to kitbash to make a structure fit a location or make them look as we want them to. Thanks for sharing, David

Hi Joe, that structure came out great! I wouldn't worry about that roof, it looks like it should be that way. All those little mistakes make the structure look even more one of a kind. Legos to the rescue again, I love it! Dave B.

Thanks, Dave. You continue to be one of my biggest supporters, and I really appreciate it! (Lego always comes to the rescue, BTW!)

Turned out really nice 👍. Have been scratch building for years, with the occasional kit bashing, usually Auhagen modular system.

Thanks, Rob! I’ve never heard of the Auhagen system. Time to do some research…

One complaint, that is the most expensive models I can say using Lego as brasing. I will stick to my foam, wood, and plastic sheets or any other scrap I have laying around. Keep up the the great work you are giving me more ideas for my lay out.

I don’t use Lego everywhere. But if I want something that’s going to be guaranteed square, it’s my go-to.
@circleofthewolfairsoft74193 жыл бұрын
@@ThePixelDepotLLC this is true but I use 1,2,3 blocks I find them perfect when putting bracing on. I was only being a smarty everyone does things different this is how I get ideas for portions of my lay out you doing one thing makes me think of something else.

Hey Joe, what color paint did you use for the Hardwood Furniture building? I like the color scheme you used, but I'm having a heck of a time duplicating the building color. Btw... love your videos!
@ThePixelDepotLLC Жыл бұрын
For the building I used Rust-oleum Camouflage Sand from their Camouflage line. For the windows I believe I used Rust-oleum Claret Wine. They are both from spray cans rather than the smaller railroad colors from an airbrush.

Great! Will pick up the paints tomorrow. Really loved the way your kitbashed Hardwood Furniture building came out. So much, that I'm going to attempt doing the same. My first kitbash. Just getting back into the hobby after 30 years and your videos have been a great inspiration to me. Keep up the awesome work!

The lip looks ok. Could just be a roof repair, and required a bump..

Thanks, Paul. No one has commented on it in person so I guess it works!

At 29:53 you refer to a fire nozzle. That is incorrect terminology. That is an FDC, or Fire department Connection, that allows the Fire Department to to connect to supplement the sprinkler system in the event of a fire.

That’s good info to know. I (clearly) never knew what they were for.
