Just getting into Argos and have Triumph of Bacchus, Danaë, and Nemean Lion. Love TOB and Danaë but wasn't blown away with Nemean Lion at all. Very complex and difficult fragrance. Very linear in the top and heart notes. When it finally gets to the base notes where it gets interesting and beautiful the fragrance starts to fade away. A shame because I was expecting something entirely different.

Argos is in my TOP5 favorite houses. I have 10 out of the line so far... My top 5 fragrances are - * Fall of Phaeton * Triumph Of Bacchus * Bacio Immortale * Birth of Venus * Pour Homme All in my Argos lineup are 8 to perfect 10's. NOT A LOSER IN THIS HOUSE! Say what you want to, I'm not hearing it!

Imo best to worst Danae Triumph of Bacchus Pour Homme Bacio Adonis awakens Pallas Athene (only one I dislike) I don’t have any of the new ones. I just can’t keep up with this hobby anymore. Last couple years there 20-25 new releases every week and a ton from houses I like…… Can’t afford it anymore

⁠@@scottaromatico4712Ha! Plasma! I respect your willpower. I’m down to one buy a month. Two if it’s a non-niche under 100 or so. Let’s me get the absolute must buys as they release. Also been getting samples every 2-3 months. Like 10-15 of newer stuff that are all hot off the press. Then only the ones that blow me away I’ll go and buy. Which I guess whittles it down and helps keep things affordable, but 1-2 wears doesn’t always give me an accurate feel for a fragrance, AND there’s so many I like but it didn’t blow me away (got 1000+ colognes so rare for something that is unique and blows me away) so it’s…..unrewarding in some weird away. Sorry for babbling. I’m sure u don’t give a shit 😂😂😂
