Yeah, many people upgrade every couple years anyways, but knowing that you'll be out of date in 2 years whether you like it or not, is pretty horrible IMO and Lenovo could try harder for such a big brand. Furthermore, you didnt note that the Samsung is noticeably faster in terms of compute, so its better for emulation and gaming and might last longer in terms of supporting those future OS updates without slowing down too much. If Samsung added S Pen functionality, then their tablet would undeniably be the best deal around. Thanks for the review though, gave me good food for thought on what to buy on Prime Day.

Never support a business that sells products and has zero software support. A device of this cost should have frequent updates to security and the OS version, if Samsung can do it, Lenovo can. Lenovos business plan is to ship as much obsolete product as possible and put as little effort into software as possible. Regardless of the pros on the Lenovo they are outweighed instantly as soon as you have a software bug (and you 100% will) and you wont get a fix or even new updates to Android, 1 if you are lucky. Investing this sum of money to a lot of people is a significant investment, to get security and more importantly OS and feature updates for years after is important. Customers need to stop being these lured in by the price and show Lenovo they need to lift their game software wise, I returned my P11+ as I couldnt get a major software issue fixed, zero support on even higher end devices, unacceptable in 2024
