In primary school we were taught that "Music is the international language of all mankind". So I believe this video very much. I noticed at the church I used to go to that the music was so different than the music I grew up with in church. I no longer go to that church. This message is timely and true. Music is powerful. We do need to discern and act on it. I saw the shift in the music beginning with things written early in the 1900s. There was an increase as time went on of worship music centered more and more on self and less and less on the Lord. Lord Jesus hear my prayers. Prayers are all I need. I’m losing hope but God restores my faith. These past three years have been difficult. At times I feel so alone especially as a single mom. Okay. But at the risk of sounding pedantic.. that only gift we can give Him that He is after is our Heart actually. All of it? From time to time He wishes to knock on many hearts including mine if we are truly All His.. and not otherwise half hearted or divided to various other hot interests especially the non permitted ones. So, in short, we are to give Him Praise and Worship From The Heart. (So we wont be caught "honouring Him with just the lips but with hearts far from Him"). Magnifying Him honours Him and blesses us in return. But focusing or dwelling more on the depth of certain feelings or situational positions not too fruitful congregationally speaking I think. One can probably better put that to prayer and/or as ministry gifts to others (if it brings encouragement laced with Correct Doctrinal teaching in the lyrics, so the believer can turn it back to God in some rejoicing/declaration of victory).

It is true that obedience to the Lord is of utmost importance. It is true that we all need to be grateful to the Lord and we need to be grateful to musicians too for the gift of music. It isn't only music in the traditional sense which helps to sustain us. It is the melodious sound of the human voice in people who are good hearted while being genuine in their kindness thanks to how they made the choice to believe in Jesus Christ and/or what he is calling to them about. We need to tell young people that they should never allow someone to disrespect them only because they are young. Young and less experienced when it comes to how they interpret words and speech while respecting their own intuition too. Reading the bible can help young people grow too no matter what their family background is while the King of kings is calling them. Is a speaker at the time being obedient to the Lord in their words and tone of voice too? Or are they speaking with an in general disrespectful tone towards the Lord and towards the youth who are at the time doing their best to follow him at the time?

This is why I believe the name of the Father and His son are so important. In the music played for Yahushua and Yahuwah you can't say they are for any other god. But music today and before they can be promoting any god and you would not know it. He say's my people are called by my name? They removed every time in the scriptures where Father Yahuwah's name was used. Even in the new testament. It's no wonder that people don't know who they really serve. People are pulled in every way to serve false gods unaware of it. Someone can say they sing about god. Everyone is like I love his or her music. Out there with there hands streched out praising who ever gods they are singing to with no knowledge of the truth. The Spirit of God is truth and knowledge. Beware of who you are serving. They could be worshipping satan and you would not know because most do not think about the name of the Father and His son. Don't be decieved. Learn the name His people are called by. One other thing. It says to call on His name. Do you realize when you call on the name Yahushua you call on the Father through His Son? Yes His high priest Yahushua. He is the Father's Salvation for us. See how knowing the name is so important? Don't raise your hands in praise till you know who they they are singing about or praying too. You might want to see who the masonic people think is satan?

Ever since I've surrendered to God from a troubled place, I've been focused on His principles and allowing the Lord Jesus Christ to take control of my whole life to a point where I seldom listen to music secular or even worship music and gospel songs. I trust in the Lord Jesus Christ to strengthen my spiritual vigilance and discretion towards music in terms of their origins and basically everything that's worldly. This is such an important message. Music has always been a part of my life. Before I met Yeshua, the music I listened to ranged from anything to everything. After, I couldn't listen to those same songs. It was a stronghold that was difficult for me to deal with. Without Yeshua, I couldn't have. I used Worship to fight it.
