I really don’t quite get it because Luke says the spirit of the lord is upon me and has anointed me to preach the gospel, to heal broken hearts and much more I do not know how to differentiate between the anointing and the Holy Spirit , he is saying Lucifer is still anointed no I believe he lost that because the anointing cannot stay in an atmosphere of sin ,THIS IS A HARD SAYING maybe a little confusing, I will stay with the simplicity of this glorious gospel of Jesus amen and amen ,

The annointing is the "office", appointment, functionality. The Holy Spirit is the Holy manifestation of the person of God on earth. The Holy Spirit comes into us as believers. David was annointed ( appointed) as King. He was not given the Spirit. He already had the Spirit upon him.
