I kept a 3 battery TM setup using 3x 100AH 12V lithium batteries giving 100AH service @ 36V. The 12V batteries usually weigh less, so my 100AH solution weighs about the same as your 80AH solution that almost certainly cost more. You had room for 3 batteries, should have called me!

Nice rig and setup the boys did for you.............Eager to hear you thoughts on the Garmin Force....I'm looking to swap out my Ultrex and although i want the PP Move, just cant swing the $5K....Force is my next option and ready to pull trigger on it......i do hear it's a little different with the pedal but i should be able to get used to it.......

I can tell you after fishing with this one and with Taylor at Pines, I like it a lot, it's light to lift, really strong, cuts thru slop, but mostly it takes up way less space on the front deck

Interesting to see they recommend mixing battery chemistry on your 12 volt side of things. To my knowledge, every lithium manufacturer does not suggest mixing lithium and AGM. I noticed this with the Puma STS you reviewed with the 300 a while back, he had the same set up.

Every brand is different but with impulse it is an approved practice and is great to get the high voltage mix of lithium and stability for high output charge systems on new 4strokes.

I need to know how he has those 12v's hooked up! Are you running the 12v AGM and 12v Lithium in parallel together and connecting them to the Motor & single charger? ?

@@taylorjohnson2608 hmmmm, I was always under the impression that you couldn’t mix chemistry types when running batteries I series/parallel. I run an Impulse 36v TM battery and 12v Deka AGM starter hooked up to a PowerPole Charge, then a 12v Impulse for electronics with its own NoCo 12v charger. I would LOVE to be able to connect that 12v Impulse to my 12v AGM so I wouldn’t have to A)have a 2nd charger in the boat, and B)Actually get it recharged while running the big motor(2017 Merc ProXS 2stroke). May not be possible with a 2 stroke motor ……

@@ssmorgan1978 you can definitely hook the 2 12s parallel but with power pole charge you may have some issues, as they haven’t been the friendliest to that set up.

@@QuarterOzzy no just referring to no black box for the NBT units to run, as they will run directly with the 86series. But as for livescope it will always have to have the GLS 10 for function.
