Oh my word! That cavern is literally breathtakingly beautiful! The limestone that just erodes into nature's beautiful creations! It's just magical! And I know I was tough doing that climb, especially in that kind of heat! And with your asthma, it had to have been so hard! My lungs were burning just hearing about it! I have a hard time breathing in humid weather, not climbing mountains! I really couldn't imagine! But seeing that wonderful cavern and the bridge and knowing that it was at one time, an under sea cave and cavern! That sea levels used to be so high that the cavern you are standing on, on top of that mountain, used to be under the sea! How amazing! And those monkeys were so cute! And these ones didn't seem to want to even try to interact with the people! Those adorable little faces looked even shy! And that temple was one that you really wanted to have to worship in order to even go through that climb! But how beautiful to see it all glowing in just the right light! I've seen that temple featured on a few shows before. It's gorgeous! Man everything about this episode was amazing! And knowing what you had to go through to bring those amazing sites to us! I'm eternally grateful to you both! Thank you Charlie and Liz❣️

That humidity never got easy for us. We are for sure cold weather people, but it was worth it to get there and save some cash on not getting a boat. We got to see more of the geology that way too. Thank you so much for coming along on this one and bringing all the excitement you do.

The hike was beautiful but OMG what a hike in the heat. Most would die doing that !! I was glad yous made it to the boat drop off area. It looked refreshing and tranquil. Some people commented that the cave was featured in Tekken 7. We looked it up and sure enough it was. Glad we caught the light we did, but I guess at just the right time of year it gets pretty epic. Would love to see that in person.

Oh my goodness, I have seen this cave before on National Georgraphic, or somewhere. but I had no idea the walk in and out was such a feat. Thank you for taking us along with you, your photography is amazing, I don't think you missed the light at all. it was truly lumonious. great photos of the monkeys too. at one time it was under the sea is just amazing to imagine. I am glad they don't want to interact with you. the monkeys that is. I hope you had enougy water to hydrate and renew your bodies that was a hard climb out and in.

That is not a temple, but the King's pavilion. It is one of scenes in the game Takken 7 (2017) is a mixed scene of Khao Luang Cave Phetchaburi and Phraya Nakhon Cave of Prachuap Province. It was our first country so we had more time to prepare. "Yes, no, please, thank you, excuse me/sorry, hello and goodbye" go a long way. For extra credit we found "how much is this?", numbers from 1 to 100, "backpack, where is the bathroom?, what is this called?" and words for different meats/foods (pork, chicken, fish, noodles, rice, etc). Not up selling but the officer just telling you the other options plus with the local services 😅 and by boat operate by the local people not The Nation park officer if I am not wrong because hiking at the national park is dangerous too so they want to make sure that you guy can taking care yourselves go&back with the time limit of National park close time. National park fee cannot up selling everywhere in Thailand

These Langurs are not aggressive at all, actually quite docile! BTW the cave was not discovered by the “King” it was discovered long ago, however a revered King Rama V (Chulalongkorn) visited the cave, thus the Pavilion was built to accommodate him during his visit, so it’s not a temple!
