I would like to know about the deadline for winter 2022 in masters of computer science program. When is it and why is the deadline so early ?

Hi! The deadline is early because the process to apply to that master are longer and require more time to evaluate the file and also so that the students can receive an answer early enough to then apply for a study permit. Hello! If you want to change programs, you will have to do so on OUAC if the program is still open or wait until the Fall to request a program change on uOzone.

Hello! I’m an international student and I registered as an undergraduate for french immersion program, but they asked me to do the Toefl test and I did it. The question is: Why did they ask me to do the Toefl test when it’s a french immersion? And what score should I get to get admitted at uOttawa? Thank you :)

The test is required if your first language is not English or if you are an international student. If English is one of your official languages, you could have asked for an exemption of the test. You will also have to do a French competency test for French Immersion however.

uOttawa uses grade 11 marks to determine offer of admissions in the first round if not enough grade 12 marks are available to us. That being said after your exams they will be using only grade 12 marks to calculate your admission average.
