It's a day in my life as a musician working at home, during the week today. I nip out briefly to The Works stationery shop, in search of a new planner, but apart from that and a quick jaunt out in the evening, I spend nearly all day at home. I'm doing a lot of flute practice, working on technique, repertoire for an upcoming gig plus my two chosen audition pieces that I've given myself til June to perfect. I've gone up another notch on the metronome. Whoohoo!

The metronome would do my head in when my piano teacher would turn it on. I would grit my teeth and end up with a stress headache. Hated that thing.. haha Nice to have comfy footwear for walking. We don't realize how much we just get used to our "old" shoes till we treat our feet to something new.

Avocados last really well in the fridge! But yes usually only will ripen if you take them out and leave them on the side and watching with close eyes so they don’t turn so quick 😂😂
