Dr.Ang Yong Guan was my SAF 5SIR room mate during our recruit 3 months basis training situated at Dover Road, Queenstown. He was from RI and also another two RI recruit. I had learned to speak English with them faster than 12 years in my Chinese School. I'd still vote for him if he's contesting in my area though. We need change and I have faith in PSP's policies just as I have confidence in Dr. Ang's impeccable credentials. Just to clarify, I lost a good friend to depression so that joke kinda got me triggered. This is why mental health issues in SG is still a stigma even today. I mean... A venerable psychiatrist himself jokes and laughs about it like it's inherently funny to be a patient in a mental facility... Not a good look when you're the one responsible for helping them. I'm aware that these are casual interviews designed to familiarize the people with the PSP members, so it could just be brain farts from them trying to be candid/funny for the viewers. Even so, I hope that they will be more careful and sensitive with what comes out of their mouths in the future. Or hire a professional public relations and media team. This is a serious and important time and we must make no mistake so that we may win. Anyways I apologize for being too critical. PSP jiayou!
