Yes, you can easily travel from Hamburg to Rendsburg by train, there are a lot of hotels, guesthouses ....

i live in Norway but are planning a trip this summer to Kiel Canal, do you have any idea what lenses will be best for photography there i have from 50mm to 200mm, how wide is the canal, and will 50mm even be to tight there?

Hi Torben The maximum wide of the kiel kanal is 150m, so you are very close to the ships, 50-200mm is perfect, if you go some bridges you need 200mm, also if you go U-Boot Ehrenmal in Heikendorf near kiel, Nice Location
