Hi Kathy! Thank you so much for featuring this. I really admire your tenacity in this solve. Sometimes, it’s just hard to find the next place to look (so relatable).

I really like that column 2 setup with the black dot and the thermos. Very beautiful logic, Maya.

15:55 that’s clever! Was not thinking of that at all

This was a lovely puzzle and a really nice job on the logic, even if you had a rough scanning day.

Really nice!! I actually did complete this a couple days ago but then tried to do it again yesterday and couldn't remember how i did it lol. Spoiler: Column 2 was so restrictive, I knew the key was finding that the column was all numbers from 1-6, but I focused so much on it i forgot that it's the white dots that help fix those numbers.

Kathy you seemed to struggle today with your scanning and the "simpler" logic (you got the hard stuff fine, but seemed to miss the consequences of it). But getting there is the goal, and you're managing that nicely. Just remember, the rules may change... but logic won't! (and if all else fails, resort to sudoku!).

I didn't feel that way at all. She could have done better by recognizing sooner that the 5 placed in box 2 eliminated the 5-6 option on the white dot, but overall I thought her scanning was good.

I have seen a lot of "forced" sudokus today... (and by "forced" I mean little ambiguity). This puzzle almost immediately solves itself. The black kropki has only one viable option, and determining the orientation of the two digits sets off the dominoes that complete the grid. Completed in 8m47s.
