I don't care what anyone, including the producers or one of the actors thinks: one of the greatest movies of all time! Got it in my top 40...

I always wanted a date with a girl from "Butch Academy". When Janet Reno was US Attorney General, my dad said she looked like she should have been the Superintendent of "Butch Academy".

Ron Leibman was a truly brilliant actor who appeared on Broadway numerous times. He won the Tony Award for his portrayal of Roy Cohn in "Angels in America" in 1993. So what the hell was an actor of his calibre doing in a movie like this?

I'd love to see this entire movie again. I saw it at the Drive-in when it came out. I was ten years old at the time. I went because I LOVED Mad Magazine... HATED the movie. It bored the hell out of me. But, I think I was too young for it at the time.

His name is Ron Leibman. He was very embarrassed to have played Liceman. Was it National Lampoon who had their name taken off the movie after the screening? Anyway, Leibman is in a bunch of movies. Like Zorro, The Gay Blade, and Garden State. Lots of TV shows, too.

@GarthanSaal444- Honestly, I see that less as an indication of the movie's quality and more of how MAD just can't take what they dish out. They were seeing big, big dollar signs when they had this movie made. Then, it turned out to be a tad below what they'd wanted, so they threw a gigantic tantrum and disowned it. MAD deserves to have this movie associated with them, just as Ford deserves the Edsel and GM deserves the Cimarron. But still.... SAY IT AGAIN!

Great role by Ron Liebman, younger viewers will probably recognize him as Rachel's dad from Friends. He's also married in real life to actress Jennifer Walters from Arrested Development

I thought he was married to Linda Lavin, of the TV show Alice. That's what I remember from those days. Maybe he was. I'll google it.
