Thanks for the Tests! TU4 is really exciting for me since you could get quirious rolls on now powder mantle, wind mantle, berserk, interprid heart and mail of hail fire as tier 1 skills. Was doubting frost craft cause I thought it wouldn't effect shelling

Great video. I've been trying to roll for that Powder Mantle + lvl 4 slot upgrade on the Risen Kushala helm, at least I know it's possible.

The mantles aren't rare rolls for the budget so is pretty "easy" to get them even without removing skills from the armor.

Some attacks (and other actions) that play around with sheathing do not line up with their animations. For instance, carting will not let your gauge build back up at sheathed speeds until after you finish standing up. I noticed this when screwing around with LS on the dummy. Use Sakura (pref Velk LS) and let auto-sheathe, you'll regen while dealing hits and stay in the top two bars! With really tight timing you can squeeze some regen without technically being sheathed (not cancel Harvest). Weird they did it that way, for sure.

@CaoSlayer Frostcraft aside, will you be making a video on optimal builds for each shelling type now that curious weapon crafting has bonuses to sharpness, affinity, and attack the further into unlocking curious slots you go? Also with new possibilities in what you can roll with curious armor crafting but that's a bit of luck so maybe nothing heavily focused on armor rolls just the armor itself.

As someone who's favorite way to play GL is with Shelling only playstyles this new addition to Frostcraft is AMAZING Id imagine Frostcraft won't be too great on Wyrmstake Spam because the ticks of the Wyrmstake will probably eat up all of the attack and elemental buff, but for EC Spam with Wide this sounds great (or even with Wyverns Fire spam)

Long charged shell spam was the most fun in Iceborne. But it was gutted in Rise for a few reasons. I admit the constant series of flinching in world from that was a bit broken but I don't think they should've nerfed it so hard as a playstyle.

aerial normal gunlance, blast dash shell hailcutter or you can sheathe and wirebug into air shot into hailcutter and get some BEEFY hailcutter numbers

Depends of the shell type or if you are using EC but regardless takes a good chunk.

Hi I've just made the endgame pivot to gunlance on Xbox and my first solo finish versus HR100 VALSTRAX was through gunlance shenanigans, simply put I want your opinion on the best base setup for simply gunlance speed hunts if possible. I assume it's Rampage GL but what's the definitive best base set up. Keep doing what you're doing. Amazing content.

Will depend a bit on the best talisman you can get, the template is kaiser helm, vaik chest and rest bagel, the target talismans are AB3 2-1-1 with any useful secondary skill.

I just want them to buff wyrmstake. That move is useless, I do the same damage with a full burst on any body part that I'd get on a really high hitzone with wyrmstake cannon and on top of that it takes like twice the amount of time as hitting and full bursting does together.

I had to cut charge master because I had no more room and I know the damage was minimal to begin with. You may try.

I wouldn't use FC with normal yet. Normal builds are a lot better now that you can easily include i heart and max powder mantle and wind mantle.

Wide is superior when only shelling because the stronger shells and EC. Long is better for a melee/shelling build and there FC would hold it back too much.

It is great but a bit consistent because BB use do so many hits from different attacks. If using WS, the first to hit is the WS wasting part of the 30% bonus. Still I have saw it do like 3000 damage in the dummy.
