Back when Garmin was a thing and phones didn’t have GPS... I’m severely directionally challenged and would find myself lost in the WORST places a little white girl should be in where I grew up. My mom makes maps of the county for a living, so I’d always call her for a bailout to find my way home. I got myself lost in shady hoods so many times, my parents got me a Garmin that Christmas. 🤣

Hank Williams died in 1953, so even if Hank was buried outside of the edge of town then, well, Montgomery grew. And grew, and grew. So now Hanks grave is no longer on the outside of town, but in the middle of the hood.

I am guessing the school you went to was not fantastic. I guess I do not understand when there are places were the cost of living is cheaper even in the states why more people do not move out there. There might not be a whole lot out in the rural areas sometimes, but at least you do not have to worry about shots being fired.
@hgarza11363 жыл бұрын
@@Chualland school wasn't that bad. They did end up putting a fence around it,& hired security guards. They also built another high school which did kinda seperate the higher& lower class. Damn, maybe it wasn't that great! Anyway, my neighborhood wasn't like that when we first moved there. It grew into that around the early 90's. Also, went and stayed with my pop's a couple of times. Even stayed with him while he was in the military on base,& it ended up being the same. May have just been that era in time, who knows. Your right about rural areas. Soon as i could I got out,& moved to a rural area in a different state, so my kids wouldn't have to be around that. I have heard that the neighborhood I grew up in isn't as bad anymore though. Like i said, maybe it was that era in time!

Anyway I cant believe it, I now live less than half a mile away from Hank Williams grave. I can almost see it from the front porch. I wish so badly I couldve seen and met Church and his team, but anyway, Ive been trying to pull myself out of this depression and this video makes me laugh bcuz its so true. I just wanna go home. And this is not home. I miss my family, I miss my kids being happy and safe. This place its .....sad.

I've been minding my own business and got caught in the middle of two drive by shootings and a attempted home invasion where shots were fired. In the home invasion I had to throw my son down and cover him while my friend shot back at them. I had powder burns from my friend shooting over me at them. They only got one shot off my friend at door slammed the door on them while my other friend unloaded his gun at them. They left a brand new bottle of BBQ lighter fluid out side the door. No telling what they planned to do with that. Scary shit for sure.

Ask any of your subscribers if they know about Michigan Boulevard in Michigan City Indiana try being a white boy with your homeboy on the back of a moped driving down the boulevard at 3 in the morning and getting stopped at the Duke buy a stoplight and then having 30 or 40 known gang Bangerz from Chicago walk up on you and Surround you asking what set you with and why the hell you rolling down their street in the middle of the night that spot got so bad that they literally tore down a school to build the new police station right there and the cops won't even Patrol that neighborhood

Dude Tenesee got some hood life too. I ran a fireworks stand in Covington, TN back in late 90s and shot a dude stealing a case of bottle rockets with my bulldog .44. It didn't make it through that packed box of bottle rockets but it rolled his ass 20 feet. That was the 3rd night in a row they robbed me and I wasn't having it. I'd rather be downtown Memphis than in some of the "country" areas of TN. LOL At least there is street lights.
