OMG I got unsubscribed from y’all until I seen this!! 😡 I fixed it though. I don’t comment a lot but you two are definitely my spirit animal 😊 When you said music has no color. I was born in ‘75 and was raised in southern Oklahoma (still here) with a momma who had the “oldies” playing constantly. Like The Temptations, Sam Cooke, Supremes. You get it. And a dad who had stacks of vinyl like, Pink Floyd, Stray Cats, CCR, to the outlaws of country, Waylon, Willie, Hank Jr, and Eddie Rabbit (I love a Rainy Night) was my fav., Tanya Tucker and so on. Then growing up I found hip hop. Like the 80’s & 90’s legends with a little 2 Live Crew thrown in. Pac taught me poetry so I’ve always loved music. All music. So 5 years ago I found Upchurch and was thrown back to rap, like real rap! Then I discovered Reactors and I was blown away by folks, especially the Black Americans, who had never even heard of George Jones or Charlie Pride 😐 I just thought everybody grew up listening to all genres. I was fascinated, still am. My grandson who is 8 is named, STAGGER LEE, song from Lloyd Price. My dads favorite song.☺️ People always ask about his unique name and I always tell them to KZbin it because I know they’ve heard that song. I was wrong 🤦🏼♀️ So finding reactors like y’all brightens my whole day. I’m on our homestead, in my gardens planting beets as I type. Ear buds in and enjoying my therapy. I grow food 😄 Sorry I typed a novel. I text like I talk. Just toss in a southern drawl with hand movements and you can hear me. THANK YOU BOTH SO VERY MUCH FOR TEACHING ABOUT THE BIBLE!! I hollered YES! and my grand looked at me and laughed. So again, thank y’all and I pray for a hedge of protection around your family, property, and your platform. You two are a blessing, and I hope you truly realize how many people your words of encouragement and faith might’ve touched someone’s sole today. God bless 🙏🤓❤️🇺🇸

I may be mistaken, but saying a person's neck too red is calling some a Rednxxk. It can be used in an enduring way, but usually, it's an insult.
@davidmark77852 жыл бұрын
Redneck just means country folk who don't care what people think about them. In fact most people don't like him. They're called stupid for just living more simply.

I grew up with rap of the 80’s/90’s. It’s sad for me to this music to become a color issue. We were ALL blasting it! It was a great UNIFIER in my day! It was did you hear this new song? Did you hear that song? It was ALL LOVE! I stopped listening when race was dragged into it the late 90’s and early 2000’s. I’m THRILLED to see so many pushing back against that narrative! Much love! God Bless y’all!

redneck is a derogatory term for southern white people usually lower income blue-collar workers (ie someone who works a labor job usually in the sun always has a sun burnt red neck) but the term more or less has been embraced by "rednecks" because we don't let nobody keep us down or tell us what we should do.
