It’s awesome how you and upchurch can meet in the middle on very touchy subjects in today’s world and have legitimate points that compliment each other instead everything being white versus black. A vast majority of people in this world are colorblind and the only ones being led to war in this are brainwashed, or paid to be that way. Sadly they lack enough sense to realize it’s all apart of a big plan to direct attention away from the evil our elites are doing. i agree with you Simba when you said that discipline would solve most of the problems. But at the same time in todays society kids are told that if your parent touches you in any way they are to speak up. I CALL THIS BS!!!! I got my rear-end whooped for stuff i did as a kid. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ABUSE AND DISCIPLINE. But parents are in fear of losing their kids if they try to discipline them bcz thats how society is. I could say this until im blue in the face but i dont see a way to change it. Im honestly surprised that any kids born after the year 2000 know how to ride a bicycle.

It's like these therapist say just speak softly and after your child hits you just stay calm and focused. Wait until they hit you 3 times then softly ask the child if they would pretty please go to their room. If they don't go ask them why they don't want to go to their room! Bullshit, if there is a stinging sensation from your hand or a switch then they HMMM if I do that bad thing again, then daddy's going to tear my ASS up so now I won't do that again! I love my father and he loved me enough to correct me so I won't grow up to have no morals no respect for my elders! I've grown up to respect my parents, open doors for my wife, do the right thing in bad situations.. etc. I've seen my father cry after he corrected me and it hurt him but he knew that I had to learn lessons! I love and respect both my parents and I appreciate my life lessons!!

True story: When my son was 8 he was being terrible. I have 3 kids and that boy was exhausting the hell out of me. I had a cop friend of mine come by the house just to talk to my son because I was at a loss by that point. My son tried to get me in trouble and told the cop that I smacked his butt. The cop bent down, looked my son dead in the eyes and said, " your mom smacks you now so I don't have to shoot you later". Lol My son is 16 now. Cocky teenager. But a damn good kid.

I certainly believe in discipline, but not through physical means. Beating your kids doesn’t teach them right from wrong, just makes them afraid of you. Psychologically, a parent hitting their child can be traumatic whereas raising your kid to be responsible for their behavior and having honest conversations when they do wrong is much more beneficial.
