I actually believe that one economy and one currency is the way to go. It will happen sooner or later. The question is, if people in charge will use it for good or as always... My idea of the world is that there shouldn't be separate counties and economies. We are people of the Earth, and should be united. Work together for the greater achievements, not compete with each other, cause this won't keep us for long on this planet. We have to conquer cosmos and this won't happen if we are divided.

Fact and speculation all rolled into one; although I appreciate the video and the knowledge it presents to those less informed on the economic situation it does feel like you are 'telling it how it is' instead of letting people do their own research and come to their own conclusions. There was a time I could go on for hours telling people about the world (as how I saw it from the research and info I had seen) but the most helpful thing you can do for others is get them to do their own research.

Well my health insurance cost has gone up $25-30 a month since the passing of the bill and nothing has changed for me. I am with Blue Shield, non profit healthcare... Where is my money going?

And when they said, A New Order of the Ages, they were referring to democracy (which technically is not a new concept, but the founding fathers still saw their new government as a new thing in itself)

U.S. has always used debt to pay debt.Well,at least since Fed came to be.It is mind numbing how a country can sit back and be ran and dictated by a private company that, unlike any other proper national central bank is severely missing transparency.Defaulting or not, U.S. can never be close to debt-free as long as the Fed exists.

If you have no competition then you get monopolies, forcing the few to the top and the rest into poverty.

Hey Rico! first of all nice video, your opinions are always great! i just have a quick question, if the United States defaults and chaos comes, will it happen everywhere like in my country of Canada? I am a big supporter of the USA and i would hate to see some thing happen, just wondering what YOU think will happen around the globe if shit went down

I think Independent works, at least in my own view competition is a main driving for, or at least for me. It's going further and doing better than the next guy that pushes me harder then all else. whether or not its working together to be better then the next group or alone. Then again that's just me.

Correct, but shutdowns costs more than keeping the government open (read up on both shutdowns and their cost led by Gingrich). Moreover, congress just voted to payback fall federal government workers. This shutdown seems more and more like another opportunity for politicians to grandstand and pass their bills. Honestly, I am more concerned about the man behind the smoke/mirrors; possible downgrade of the American credit rating (again) and removing the American dollar as the world currency.

I meant countries compiting with each other, not companys. Most of the countries in the world have literally nothing, they can't compete, and they are doomed to poverty.

I appreciate you and U R explaining this as if the U. S. is a big 'firm' or like U and me. No. U've missed (as I've until recently - 2011) 'Soverign Money'. U. S. A. is a sport stadium and they merely control the 'scoreboard' ($$). Take $100 to pay taxes and they'll SHRED it - taxes destroy money / spending creates money. ...modern monetary theory / intimations from Keynesian Theory.

2. Creating $$ and no increase in 'AS' = inflation. Yes, too much $$$. 3. E. G. raise wages X 10 = 1000% inflation = prices X 10 times no gain = d('AS') = 0. 4. see explode.freeshell.org - 'Real Numbers' > 120 million work full time / p > 129 M don't! ...total work force. My spin what's wrong. . 5. Loaning money creates $$$. Fed stops 100% loaning means bubble to infinity. Frontline 5.2012 'Wall S' Part I shows derivativea 'Skirted' the Fed to bubble to infinity. Fed is friend, sorry.

Common sense isn't in economics when not taken to the next level. Again Common sense as: Raise Min Wage..Common sense as they get more $$$ BUT! They get the $$$ from customers = raise prices. No benefit I want to send to many in Seattle: $15 M. W. = 40% price increases in small biz'es! ... ...Then stop biz... Many will close...M. W. W's FIRED / Lose jobs! ....Common sense as: Raise Min Wage? Too superficial.

U R CORRECT if it was a 'STATE' like OH, VA, WV - No sovereign money! This is the SCREW UP of the EURO! I Can't believe the stupidity of the EURO Economist to mess up! 'Euro' members R as 'US States' One state goin down, as CA 'scare' could trigger... pull down the whole US Economy.

It seems they are kicking the can again. How long do you think this can keep up? Obviously the weight of the debt will come crashing down, sooner rather than later.
@LakeAndBake10 жыл бұрын
Debt to GDP hasn't risen since 2012 and is in expected to this decade so there won't be a crash but I agree that the us needs to decrease debt.

America isn't that in debt to Canada, a couple Bn or something, but our countries do work very close together in terms of oil and resources (Canada has more then enough :P) but i see what you are saying, thanks for your opinion!

Lobbyists. Sign up for the exchange and pick a better plan. Don't blame obamacare for your rising rates until you sign up for it. I am saving $300 a month thanks to the exchange.

Ahh,felt to me a bit like the new one was a bit an odd choice, and looked more "planted".However, due to how their power ladder is formed I doubt a more pro-West president can do much there.

I think you're exaggerating a bit, especially with the inflation, but I agree with the essentials. Anyway, I love these videos. Just sharing thoughts and explaining stuff in a way that most people can understand, but not stupifided. Keep it up! :]

"Novus Ordo Seclorum" simply means, A New Order of the Ages. Not, New World Order. It was coined in the 18th century, and was talking about new country. If you translated New World Order into Latin, it would be different.

Not sure what Rico considers himself, but his beliefs on the Nolan chart would lead towards libertarianism/anarchism, as do most economists when it comes to policy. He definitely is not a Republican by today's standards lol
