Nice vid mate. Personally think 2024 was a bit of a weak year for SB and 2025 doesn’t look much different. May or may not be a hot take, but there were far better SB collabs and releases in 2023 compared to 2024/2025. Be interested to hear what you think!

Honestly the supreme sb do t do anything for me personally. The entire brand in general.. I just dont get the hype?! They just slap their name on shit and people go wild. To each their own I guess. I went off supreme due to its mass following/demand but recently been looking at their stuff again as I do feel they can release a lot of great items but they do also just slap your logo on other products 🤣 either way them dunks will be super hard to obtain retail. I feel the new Yuto looks better then the last pair, Let’s hope to be able to get the desired pairs this year 🤞

When they take out the lace protectors, it's kind of a dealbreaker for me. The pro-b's get a pass because they are throwbacks from a very early era. Also I have 4's in a similar color that I have skated lol. They military blue with very light grey. They look practically new but don't be deceived, I've skated them like 4 times. You can only tell from the foamy little blue patch on the outsole. The grip isn't the best but I swear I'm not wearing anything on a board that costs more than 225. Not a lot of boardfeel anyway. If you really wanted to skate them, I've heard they take a while to break in. I've also heard of the jordan 4 RM being called an sb, and Idk if I would agree... at first I hated them, but now they look ehh, acceptable. Still not a skate shoe. What I hate is people who drive the price up on shoes they don't need. Earlier this year I had a horrific plantar fascia injury and had to switch to shoes with good midsoles only, and bought the 4's so I could skate with my injury... I wished people hadn't brought up the price of the pine green sb 4's to $700 because I literally needed them from a medical and skating standpoint... next time there will be enough for everybody to cop, and then some, hopefully. That green was a dope colorway if you ask me, though. Great video, I definitely like the ones that people are calling the 'heavens gate' lows (I think they're the Hayley Wilsons) but I think I'd like them more if they use the two-tones of purple instead of one lol We don't know yet what the final shoe will look like, since there's two versions going around. Anyway, those look pretty refreshing and I kinda want those. Also that girl needs to stop with the baldhead nonsense hahahahaha

@@WoodsyWears Thanks for replying to me haha! 4s are amazing, I used to only wear spizike jordans but I like the 4s now a lot. But the sb ones are up there in prices, and there's even counterfits. It's really insane how it is because of shoe collecting, but what can you do? Not even nike can control demand with more supply, if there's enough of that demand. And yeah I'm better now, I still have this little half-pea sized lump on my plantar fascia, I can feel it when I point my toe up and the fascia stretches out. The best thing I have done is practice balance on a flatbar rail, and apply triamcinolone on it. If I do both those things the little fascia fibroma virtually disappears. Dunks are good protective shoes in the forefoot and heel, but unfortunately the open foam thing is not enough to keep the shoe from flexing a bit in the middle just about exacerbating the condition all the time. Sometimes I land on the edge of a ledge or primo, I'm still learning to skate again! But I still suck sometimes. Haha, I'm about 1 year in and I was watching all the youtube videos and commenting on pros videos who do trick tips and being engaged, and probably a little annoying, and hoping they have good advice for me. It's winter for a lot of people now so I haven't even watched much skate content in the last few weeks and with all the american elections and the time changes, but I was so into it!! Still going to be, this next year I hope I can manage time for skating along with whatever I get into this year. I think last year there was some good shoe drops, especially from nike sb, if that's what you're into. I really liked also the venty sb dunks I think they're called? I wish I could have bought those but they were like $350... really liked those pastel colors it had with the little monster cartoons haha. Those Hayley Wilson shoes are gonna be a nice drop for sb dunks, I think so anyway.

@@WoodsyWears Aw man, I think they're really cool.. but not perfect. I like the insole a lot, I use them in other shoes that have bad insoles. It's has ortholite branding on it and a very soft cork footbed. I always wanted the hemp and navy colorway of the grasshopper low and they brought it back, with the hemp and black colorway recently. That one I bought and I really like them. I think the outsole is a nice shape in fact the whole shoe is brilliant down to the sillouette of the tongue and upper, but having no midsole or a little foam you know, is a shame because it's a nice outsole. But the fact that it's a lattice structure does create pressure points on my feet. I have used them for doing manuals outside because I didn't wanna trash them and I probably got carried away and sweated too much in them hahah I love the shoe, and I don't regret buying a pair. I think they look as they should, not exactly how they used to though. Does it perform how I wanted them to? Not really haha. For me the sb dunk still has all the beefiness I usually need, and it's leaner than I wish it was even. The edge of the outsole can protect the soft inner edge of your foot in my opinion. But even that might not have the best 'performance' as far as impact goes and actual protection from hard objects UNDER your foot... at least in the middle portion, that's with all the high tech foam it has and the air pods in the insole, which those things work...and it's a proven formula. Lattice structure shoes get more unstable the more the person weighs. So all those things matter when I say I consider 'performance' as good but not great.
