Brad! seen you with the cart and bag of rice on this video, were you "forced labour" by pulling the cart on the narrow walkway? Hahahaha. Enjoyed so much for the life in country side, I love it very much wish that I'll have a chance like yours. I LOVE THE FACT THAT NOTHING GOES TO WASTE. MY FIRST THOUGHT WAS WHAT DO THEY DO WITH THE BYPRODUCT BUT AS YOU SHOWED THEY FEED THE PIGS AND MAKE COMPOST WITH IT. I HAVE DONE THE COMPOST WITH THE HUSKS OF RICE AND IT MAKES A BEAUTIFUL COMPOST. I DO ENJOY WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS. MOST OF THEM ARE VERY INFORMATIVE. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

Brad and Ta, thank you very much! Very interesting. I too find old machines fascinating. I come from a timbering family ,so i was around logging equiptment from an early age. The finished producr was beautiful,, long grains. Was that a type of jasmine rice? That machine was a perfect example of "if it aint broke,dont fix it". Thanks again ,,,Marlon

When I was a kid we used to process corn and sugarcane for other farmers and they paid with a percentage of the crop, it’s a good system for the community. Wonderful video, thanks for sharing. Many blessings to you both 🙏 PS was the machine hydro powered?
