Mark, that is gorgeous. If you want to hang it just twist a wire loop at the top on the back. You could even hit glue a felt ring over the wires on the back to protect the wall or door from scratches.

Hi Nichole, you can run them across a table edge in the opposite direction of the natural curve. That should do it.
