The earrings are very pretty. I actually prefer the plastic bead because it is nice and light on the earlobe.

The fancy silver and gold bead makes it look like a genie's bottle. Cute.

New subscriber. You inspire me to create something lovely from vintage jewelry pieces. I have collected old, broken vintage pieces that friends and family no longer wanted. Thank you for sharing your creativity, tips and ideas. Lovely earrings.

Have you considered making a children's crafting lot with all the cheap plastic beads? We have several young girls in our church that want to learn to make jewelry. You could donate them if you don't feel like trying to sell such lots. Churches and schools both could use them with their children. Since you have a business, it might be a tax write off. My heart is with these young crafters.

Never thought of it, but I will let you know this. I have to choose whether my videos are made for children or adults. If I choose children and make videos for children, I cannot be monetized. I know what you’re saying about donating the beads, but I’m not to that point yet. I do have some “lots” of beads and findings in our Ebay store. Thanks for the thought.

You're welcome. I don't make mine for children either. (-except the one I made for Ellen, My sister's granddaughter 21 hours away.) At this time, I don't plan to monetize my videos. I have just watched too many crafters throw away cheap beads. @@avantejewelry

I throw away very, very few. It’s rare.

I think that chain that you didn't use in the video, the one that is wound in a swirl is called lumachina, after the Italian word for snail.

Wonderful! I was confused on that one. Never seen it before. Looked it up and you are correct. Thank you!

Beautiful, I am surprised you don't use jewelry bead trays to contain the ones that always try to escape. I love the last more dainty ones, even though they all are gorgeous.

I do when not making videos. I want a different look for videos. Thanks Maggie!
