Love it Jane! And agree about the pattern. It's so unique! I have sometimes done similar. But not that type of hanging straps. Mybe I found a dress soon, that I can try do same type on. Specially now when I change sizes too! But not sure I have the same type of pendants (in that quality). Really great idea Jane and you look awesome wearing the skirt. Will share this diy. What an amazing skirt, you were right the fabric patterns were too good to just discard the dress. Showing off those fab legs again!!! 😜 I’ve turned worn out clothing into cushions, hats, even placemats! My hubby and I both have a lot of metal bits hanging off our clothing. I put them in the washing machine inside out and my worst offending tops I put inside pillow cases or big wash bags. I find this works without tripping off all my electrics 😱and/or wrecking the washing machine.

@@purplejanewwell I’ve got washing machine insurance and it’s had a few repairs but generally it performs great and doesn’t seem to mind the metal!! I bought it in 2009!! 😳

I always try to keep everything in some way if I can. I like what you did with the straps. I have also removed hardware from the ends of things after causing too much destruction by moving around.

Oh I am glad to see you. Last December I were almost died. I have hallucinations. It’s was because of sickness. When I were in the hospital I has bad dreams of of I thought they were real , but they were not real,ok you know already though I got sepsis that is a bad infection in my blood. But my older sister took me to the emergency room and they got me better. Over with. If they couldn’t get me better then I would have gotten would worse but I did not. I got better. 👍😊😘🤟🏾🖤📱

@@purplejanew Exercise bra/sports bra. Exercise bra is what I call them too, that is a great idea because it has that elastic to sew and will make the skirt flare out.
