Yvonne over at GINGERCHICKREHAB uses milk paint A LOT!! She just uses regular tap water, not warm water, and mixes it 50/50. I've never tried it but, she loves it. Maybe this will help??

That was so crazy watching you make those angels from hinges. I am making some that are very similar after seeing a white chippy one sitting up as a picture holder. The round top on it just instantly made me think of a head and I've been playing with different ideas for wings! It's funny how we both saw angels from those! ❤

This video has it all. I always pick up rusty crusty tools, toolboxes etc. but then they sit around doing "nothing." Plus showing how you do the vignettes is a game changer for me. I love them both. Just a thought about milk paint…maybe try distilled water and /or a frother to mix. I’m no expert but one or both might help. LOVE everything always!!

Milk paint has to be 1 part measurement of powder and 1 part measurement of water. Example: 1 TBLS POWDER & 1 TBLS WATER. Try doing it again with measuring & see if you have any luck. Love the vignette! All of them are so cute

I havd also got paint inlays that I'm scared to death of. I always think, go big or go home. I was afraid to ruin s 26:59 tpiece of furniture. I saw you use a small piece on an old box. I'm getting it through my thick head that you can practice on scraps, and may end up with Mastepiece (if only in my eyes)
