Just a quick question, whats the point of going into indian stance from fc df 4 if all the options except 1 is fast enough to force them to block? Is there any legot applications we can use these if we are only +8 on hit?

it's more mix-up potential against the opponent, while having an immediate use of 3+4. It also has a new combo route as well.

Thank you Mr. Delusional for all your effort, appreciate it, Manji bro here, and i'm starting to understand more and more about Yoshi since watching your videos for a month or so, played Tekken 3 last, and started at Tekken 8 again, now reached Raijin and having much difficulties now since Fujin, would you mind playing against one eachother just for fun and some practise? If you don't mind, and have some spare time obviously :>, keep up the good work!

The Yoshimitsu additions are okay but it’s not something I really care for. The down+1 out of kinchko is pretty slow that it seems only useful in setups or too far to do a rising 2, 1. Also, kinchko is super slow compared to other characters stances. I wish he had more strings that gave a useful counterhit. A lot of characters can keep opponents blocking for a bit and he doesn’t have that kind or pressure.

You may be missing the potential of the FC-4 into indian, the point of Kincho, and Yoshi's strengths. Him being plus 8 from FC-4 means that if the opponent doesn't block the next move then it's pretty much a guaranteed 3+4 (in theory, I'd have to test this in match). The fear of 3+4 opens up the opponent for other mixes. Kincho can be transitioned into at any distance from the opponent. Yoshi is very agile in Kincho. You can sometimes even scare opponents by running at them from full screen while in Kincho. Also understand the limitations of Kincho. The stance is a mixup tool, not a pressure tool. Understand what moves make you plus or neutral as you transition into Kincho, like -> -> 3. Yoshi can counterhit, but his character is not designed around counterhitting or pressuring being his strengths. His design is meant to make the opponent not want to pressure you. This is due to flash, his evasiveness, and his confusing mixup options. Watch top tier Yoshis like eyemusician, You'll see that they mix people up, but hardly ever pressure them. Also watch how his opponents play against him. They constantly back off. A good Yoshi will instill fear into a pressuring opponent.
