Update 2 - Get to know the tiny boat

Tom Inge takes his boat to E39 Båt & Henger. They will help fit the boat for the long trip ahead, along the Norwegian coastline, crossing the arctic circle on it's way to Bodø.

How much do you budget for fuel costs? Will the outboard require service intervals during the trip?

Quite a frugal engine, but gas is quite expensive here. We expect to use around 1500 USD on this boat. And if we do this together with an extra boat for the camera crew (me), we expect that to use slightly more. Around 2000 USD. We may have to replace the fuel filter, but other than that, we should be within the service intervals. We will do a service on the engine right before we leave. And as far as I know right now, the local Yamaha dealer will perform that service for us :)

Spent på hvordan Tor Inge kommer til å overnatte i båten. Kanskje vi får se mer av det senere?

Takk for tipset! Det skal vi nok klare å vise litt om! :) Det blir også en del overnattinger i land, men dette vil vi vise mye av når vi er på tur.
