Yes, its all lost. New wallet means deleting current wallet with all your pi coins and creating a new wallet.

It also happened to me several times...so I suggest that you uninstall pi network then reinstall back...bcos thats what I did and it works for me...dont worry your mined pi wont be lost if you reinstall new pi network...just give it a try.
